A lot of International travelers who seem to be rude

She’s a fabulous ocean liner not a party cruise ship

Make a change if you can? We enjoy premium cruise lines geared toward adults that are quieter and more sedate. Holland America is our absolute favorite line, and we thought we’d love Cunard. We couldn’t have been more wrong. Cunard seems to rest on the laurels of its brand, while actually offering a product inferior to its competitors in the premium line segment. We wouldn’t waste our money with Cunard.

Book the planetarium in advance. You can do it on the app or via the concierge. The spaces go quickly but Cunard don’t tell anyone. Apparently it’s really good. We’ll do it next time.

Though not the size of a new mega ship, it is a large ocean liner. Find where the ship layouts are posted on the walls and carry your pocket map (provided in your room) until you figure it out. There is a lot of things to do and places to chill out as well. It is not a party ship but there is tons of opportunities to dance, chill with nice music and family/friends, or chill out.

Choose the open dining unless you really like to be confined to one hour and one table.

Be polite with your fellows guests

Wait until it is refurbished in dry dock, and go in the summer.

She is the only liner and sails perfectly through choppy seas

Seriously think about not going on this ship. It’s old and shabby !

Prepare for the formal nights. Tuxedo and gowns are required. This cruise is far more mahogany and brass versus chrome and glass.

The ship is HUGE! Realize that you have many dining options - if you don't want to sit to be served formally, the buffet offers excellent choices. Be cautions of the movies offered - the one we had for the last day was really depressing, had hoped for something uplifting or a nature film (which we thought "whale" was.

Take it in as a museum cruise. Explore the artwork and enjoy riding the small but elegant elevators. Crowd is spread out so never felt congested. Almost no kids.

Be healthy. Accesibility is not their strong suit.

It is a “ bit stuffy”. I am referring to the fellow passengers.
Thormaq
Don't. 20 year old ship obviously has reliability issues. Glad it didn't break on sea.

Enjoy! Enjoy!

Explore this amazing ship! There are historic photos and fascinating information panels about Cunard, the ships, sailing history and the people behind the scenes
Parkpalace
Very sedate; lots of waltzing. I did find that some of the Brits didn't really care for Americans.

If you are at all susceptible to motion sickness, get a stateroom with balcony midship and on as low a deck as you can find. Better yet, don't travel in the stormy season.
