Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We were in a Princess Grill Suite, our dining for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were offered in the Princess Grill. We always have breakfast in our cabin to eat a healthy meal and not be tempted, it was fresh, room service on time and excellent. Lunch and Dinner had very good selection and choices, along with a Ala Carte menu. Food was very good to excellent. The service over the top, the best we have had of our 44 cruises.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
This is not a new ship with bells, whistles, rock walls and slides. It was perfect for Alaska.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
It was good. But would have preferred more variety. Aimed more towards a British venue.

Children's Programs

No kids in our party, and very few due to not being a large ship, which we were very happy about.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone on this ship gave us excellent over the top service in every department.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean, well care for. It was is a beautiful older ship, I miss this, although we enjoy the new ships too.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
It was nice, larger deck then newer ships. Comparable cabin size to a mini suite.

Ship tip

You will enjoy this ship. The flow of passengers is great. You never feel like it is over crowded

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5
Ports our Great. Unfortunately, more ships at port at a time causing way too many people on the streets and shops.

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
We cruise once every summer to Alaska, we will never tire of the beauty.

Skagway, Alaska Did not visit port

It was not on the itinerary, but you could take a ferry from Sitka port.

Sitka, Alaska

Disembarkation

We were walk off, stood in line a extra 40 minutes for the ship to be cleared. Once cleared very quick.

Out of curiosity, do passengers dress more upscale than on the more mass market cruise lines? We have thought about doing a transatlantic in both directions with Cunard being one direction (if we can work out the logistics of doing that!).
