I loved being back on board. I had the relaxing and pampered time I was expecting. I had no bad experiences.

It went smoothly without a long wait, because I booked all hotels and transfers through Cunard.

I’m on a special diet. MDR staff worked hard to meet my needs. I loved that there were more choices for gluten-free on the buffet and at tea! I could finally do tea in Queens.

Farewell to Vancouver was a great way to spend time before late flight at airport. Four Seasons hotel was magnificent. There is a mall and train station right there.

The old trolly car ride was fantastic. The guides were a hoot. Walked back into town and had fun exploring.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
Interesting port. Loved that it was all indigenous owners.

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

5 out of 5
Breath taking and such evidence of climate change.

Sitka, Alaska

5 out of 5
No excursions. Took shuttle to town and enjoyed walking around. Used map from ship to guide us to historic places.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
The horse buggy tour was such a fun way to see old town. Guides were great.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Since we were on an excursion, it made disembarking so easy, because people were looking for us to tell us where to go.

Onboard in October. Can't wait. Will be sorry to her head off to Australia and not return to UK. Been on her many times and will now miss her and some of the staff my wife and I have befriended over the years, especially Martinez. We have all his books (signed of course).
