Review summary

Overall this was a good trip for us. There was a delay and the first couple days the ship was rocking a lot! There were a lot of sick people on the ship. But we did see a lot of great scenery and ate a lot of good food.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
The embarkation was delayed by over 8 hours due to an issue docking the ship in Seattle. This meant we had to purchase our hotel room for another night or risk being stuck without a place to stay. We weren't sure if we would even get on the ship that night or not.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The service and food in the main dinning room was excellent! Our server John and all his helpers were the best ever. The buffet was not as good but we only ate there twice.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The entertainment was just ok. The main show was very odd. We just couldn't relate so we left pretty early on. The comedian was ok but not great either. The house band however, was pretty good and we enjoyed listening to them.

Sitka, Alaska Did not visit port

Sadly, this port was cut from our itinerary. They never did give a full explanation why we didn't stop there but I suspect it was due to high winds.

This port could have been a lot better if we would have had more time here and it wasn't on a Sunday. Many of the stores were closed while we were there. We felt rushed and really didn't have time to do anything meaningful here.
