Review summary

Amazing ship, service, and ports. I recommend Quantum of the Seas to Everyone

Embarkation

Seattle moved quickly and boarding was very direct.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Always something to snack on that was really good.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We had a lot of fun with ping pong and name that tune. That said, with our previous cruises being on Carnival, we were not overly excited about the lack of Carnival like activities. We did always have name that tune and trivia which a family with small children cheated at by using a tablet. But overall it was very fun. Especially the skydiving thing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service staff were super nice and deserve a lot of credit. Especially our waiter Dennis.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was beautiful and very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I slept great on the sofa bed and the cabin was beautiful with plenty of storage

Ship tip

If you are making the switch from carnival, BRACE YOURSELF, it’s a bit of, the best I can liken it to is culture shock. It’s a lot different than any carnival ship

Ports of call

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

5 out of 5
Nice little port. I got a pocket knife I named Handy. We went on a bear watching excursion and got to see a few Grizzlies. Very cool. Other parts of my family went whale watching and saw a bear on the shore from the water. When we were driving back to the ship we drove past a spot near the water that I swear I saw in a dream before. That was my first time there which was crazy.

Seattle, Washington

Very nice and all the fish was fresh. They have an amazing aquarium and market. However, being from the south, the fact NOBODY had sweet tea was a massive culture shock. But beautiful city. The space needle had amazing apple juice.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

Very pretty. I swear I saw Steve-O swim there in a video

Juneau, Alaska

Pretty town with amazing whale watching

Skagway, Alaska

Beautiful little town. In the shadow of mountains and just so pretty. We had a tour where we got to go into the Yukon Territory and had an excellent tour guide.

Victoria, British Columbia

Nice little town. Had amazing ice cream and we got to see an otter.

Disembarkation
