Alaska is a great place to visit. The scenery is unbelievable. A lot of walking so don't think you will relax if you want to see the beauty of the country.
Embarkation

Priority boarders were not directed to the correct lines for boarding.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
There were 4 main dining rooms. Still trying to get enough workers as the dining crew are trying hard to train newbies and get up to speed. Language is a big issue. Food was good but needs more variety.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Didn't have time to take advantage of the outdoor extras as the Alaska temperature was a bit chilly. Solarium was great while in port. No one was on board.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Everyone has their own opinion. The comedian was excellent. The band, outstanding. Was not impressed with "Goddess". Overall, I was entertained.
Children's Programs
No children.
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
Room steward did everything we asked for. Bar services kept the drinks flowing. Waiter had language issues and experience was in training mode.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Could have been a bit more on top of the cleanliness. Ship was designed more for the Asian market than the North American. The better venues seemed to always be held in the smallest rooms. Need to rethink that. 270 was out of this world.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Junior Suite. The extra room was just right. Would be nice if there was a walk in shower and no tub. Very clean but as junior suits go, could have been just a bit larger.
Ship tip
Be prepared to do a lot of walking as it is a larger ship and longer.
Excursion was great. Ship docked at Old Sitka port. Did not have time in the city as you needed to take a transport into town and excursion time cut into my free time.
All my excursions got canceled. Walked the town. Found it to be very nice. Saw the play they put on which describes part of the history. Was very interesting.
Nice little town and docked right in the center. Mendenhall Glacier and the water fall next to it was beautiful. Was there many years ago. So sad to see it has shrunk to where it is now.
