Review summary

Overall, RC continues to provide a consistent experience for a great price.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Previous embarkations, even during the pandemic, have been quick. We've always remarked on how smooth embarkation is with RC, even with 4000 passengers. This time, however, embarkation felt crowded with long lines. Even so, the wait to get on was still ok (~40 minutes).

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was solid with some hits and misses. Everything was expected though... most of the best food experiences are now focused in Coastal and the specialty restaurants

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Seaplex is great, but it closes at 10:30pm! I can understand closing access to the video games, but leave the table tennis and foosball accessible! Other activities were awesome, but very limited or cost a fee. Laser tag was only one evening. iFLY and North Star now charge, although there were quite a few complimentary slots available for iFLY. Charging for these is kind of ridiculous.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Performers and staff were awesome. We enjoyed the guests too (juggler/comedian). Show lengths (45 min) were just right. However, I really miss some of the more fun productions that we've seen on other ships. Like the musical or some other variety show. We had mostly singers.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff are consistently fantastic.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was clean, well-maintained, and easy to get around

Cabin / Stateroom

It's a great port, but the time we were there (5 pm to 10 pm) was kind of awful. Very difficult to do anything in that time slot.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
There was a line, but it was pretty smooth and relatively quick getting out.
