Review summary

This was my first full capacity cruise after sailing on 3 beautiful low capacity cruises since the pandemic began. As far as the cruise experience itself, it was one of the worst I've had in a while but Alaska made up for it. It's so conflicting to explain because for every bad part of the cruise there was something that came back and made up for it in a good way. The staff and crew were just not ready for this amount of the people. I would suggest watching my full review/ cruise documentary about this on youtube just search MrBucketlist Quantum of the Seas Honest Review. Enjoy your cruise!!!

Embarkation

3 out of 5
It was extremely crowded. I have bought the key on my 3 past cruises and this one as well to skip the lines and royal caribbean decided to cancel it 2 days before we set sail. But the line constantly moved so I can't complain too much.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food quality was sub par and same with the service. It wasn't terrible but every meal I had was of less quality than my past 3 royal cruises. Jamie's Italian was one of the best meals I've had on a cruise ship.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
So much fun. Lazer tag, Ifly, bumper cars, xbox, the north star. Such a difference compared to Oasis Class.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
They had some great shows and club 270 made up for the lack of an aquatheater.

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
The were short staffed and it got even lower due to man crew and guest getting covid 19. I made many requests that never got fulfilled.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean and beautiful. A very well designed ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The cabin was great but my virtual balcony didn't work until day 3 and the sound from the balcony didnt work the entire cruise. I made serval requests but they never were resolved.
