Be aware that if you have drink package you will still be charged the taxes when the boat is in port and that the John Adams coffee bar was NOT included unlike many other cruise lines.

Hope/pray that you make every port and on time. You can arrange for your own tours for a fraction of the cost of the cruise excursions, but it takes a lot of organization, research and time to arrange.

I am not sure it is worth splurging on a balcony room or suite, as this POA cruise itineraries ports are where you need to spend all of your time.

Choose.a stateroom midship. Our cabin was forward part of the ship. We felt every wave, it was like being drunk.

Wait to go after it comes out of dry dock in April/May 2020 to see what they’ve updated. If you can swing a suite do it - the perks are worth it! If the ultimate beverage package doesn’t come free with your booking and you’re not a big drinker DON’T buy it AND don’t expect specialty coffee drinks to be included. It’s also confusing because they make you sign a receipt that looks like you’re being charged for your drink - they say it’s for accounting purposes and you’re not being charged the extra, just whatever tip you put on there. The receipt says a gratuity is added already but the servers say it’s not. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Listen or watch itinerary for changes and updates. Go to every activity you can fit in! They are all worth it!

Do not expect the service you receive on other cruise lines or ships. It is mostly an American crew and it is not in their DNA to go overboard to please you. LOL Look at it as a floating hotel without great expectations.
