The cruise was nice. We only saw it as a floating hotel. Service was for the most part lacking, their billing system is terrible. Not enough music venues for the evening enjoyment. Timing of the few shows they had were inconvenient.

Main dining room was ok. Food was nothing notable but tasty. Service was sometimes less than satisfactory. La Cucina food was just ok, service poor. Japanese Steakhouse food was good service was very good to excellent. Cagney food was excellent and so was the service.

Service and Staff
2 out of 5
Room Steward was wonderful. Did a generator job. Wait staff was lacking. Not enough of them. Sometimes long waits at a table for drinks and had to get them at the bar ourselves. Servers in the main dining room were hit or miss. Some were ok others terrible.

A little small but room enough for all our clothes. Very clean.
Ship tip
Do not expect the service you receive on other cruise lines or ships. It is mostly an American crew and it is not in their DNA to go overboard to please you. LOL Look at it as a floating hotel without great expectations.
We took the precruise package and toured all over the island for three days. We could have done away with the third day of touring, it was not great. The first two were good.
We rented a car and did the Trip to Hana like all the other tourists. It was our third trip since our cruise buddies had never done and you have to do it at least once.
Took a helicopter ride Blue Hawai’i Helicopters. It was the highlight of our trip. We rented a car and toured on our own. Went to the Canyon, swinging bridge etc.
