Review summary

i will go on other cruises with you,but will never go on this one,food was just okay sevice in main dinning room very slow.we went the first night at chin food we were there for 2 hours poeple on the other table got up after 45 min and left,and the guy who runs the place took care of a group of 6 chin people like they were kings maybe becase he was chin to.and they came in after us and left before us.and a another thing we went on a another site seaing trip on sat and then to the air port but my wife told me that we wont get are $50.00 dollars back for the ride on sat that we never use

We are going forvthecseventh time in Dec. Never had bad food or service. Onkt American cruise ship in world. No foriehn port stops. Follows US labor laws and rehs so costs way higher. All supplies from food and beverages to fuel hascto be shipped in from 2500 miles away. We get all that. So we enjoy each island visit, friendly staff (not your servants), amazing views and meeting people from all over the world. Way cheaper than flying to each island with hotel and food, wasting time in airports. Plus you only unpack once. It is about unique Hawaii

The itinerary can’t be beat if you want more island time. I loved it as I wanted to see as much of Hawaii as possible if I was to spend a good chuck of money. You do not have to use NCL excursions. I booked my own outside and in Kauai I rented a car and did my own thing. Disembark day you can walk off with your own luggage if you prefer and Uber to the airport or buy a airport transfer. Do research, there are several ncl pride of America Group pages for information. If you use a travel agent, ask questions. If you go to the buffet and no seats take your food to the deck and enjoy the view. Loved this cruise and would do it again

Thanks for sharing your experience, we booked this for Christmas 2020. At a price of over 10,000 for the week not including air fare, spending money, etc. Maybe be thinking twice about this cruise.

This ship is primarily about the itinerary and not the ship. It is American registered and primarily an American crew to be able to sail Roundtrip within Hawaii. The other options to cruise to Hawaii requires 15-16 days to sail from the mainland and must visit one foreign port.
