Too bad the research on the Oosterdam was not done prior to cruise. We love HAL just for the reason of slower and less active days.

maybe you'd prefer the 3 night Carnival Frat house cruise ?   A bit of research would show that HAL caters to the senior set.  If you want a premium cruise line and a younger client base I'd suggest Celebrity.  As mentioned the longer cruises do tend to have a more mature client base as they can get the 2 weeks off work to go,

The longer the cruise, the higher the age of the passengers in general.

Some cruise lines are better for the less active and some keep you hopping.  Thanks for the review and hope you have more fun on the next one.

A little mean , sounds like Carnival "The Fun Ship" would be your cup of tea. Just FYI my Dad just turned 83 and still loves Cruising and Trivia , Mom still knits a mean ugly Christmas Sweater so hey that's what they do, I can say one thing I have never beaten my Dad in shuffle board.  Try another CruiseLine
