Overall the ports were great except most of excursions are over 30 minutes ride to get there with a lot being more than an hour drive. And as usual with a cruise , the excursions were not worth the money. Smokers were treated like second class citizens unless you smoked cigars . Then you had a nice lounge to sit in. Alot of nights the casino was only open 4 or 5 hours from 1130 til 4 or 5 am . It seems the European union puts a lot of restrictions on cruise ships . . I will probably not be sailing on Norwegian again. The free at sea stuff is nice but not worth a bad experience.

Food and Dining

The food was good but the deserts were terrible. Only one buffet. No snacks to speak of. Geared towards 5 star dining
Onboard Activities

Small spaces . Not enough room except in theater . Very crowded . If you wanted to go to Syd Normans you had to stand in line for an hour just to get a seat. Comedy club was small . Just not a very well laid out ship.
Entertainment

Ship tip
If your a smoker there is only 1 spot to smoke on the 18th deck in corner . 9 x 18 . It was a covered area but not water proof
Terrible !! Know One set up a way for us to get to airport to an 1110 flight. Over an hour from airport. i asked the ship and they said they didn't have Shuttles to airport that early. We're told we're on our own but they did have shuttle to train station. When we left the ship at 530 am, there were 4 buses provided by Norwegian on dock going to the airport but we're all full. Ship crew gave no direction on getting to airport. Cheap cruises never set it up for us either.
Oops didn’t mean to send that fast. Anyway, I wanted to say maybe consider a river cruise because they can get into smaller places than the big ships can.
Sorry you were not pleased. We loved the Prima. The food was excellent, and the smaller venues were comfortable and not too loud.
Unfortunately, in Europe, most of the time, the ports are not near the tourist areas.
The free at sea is a great plus with NCL.
