Everything was great except cruise director's choices to make everything 1960's and 1970's music. Comedian sucked too. Food was excellent. Ports were excellent. Staff was excellent. Ship was very clean and for it's size very well planned out and layed out. Pool was fun. Hot tubs were actually hot!
Embarkation

Excellent and no issues. Very quick process.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food and drink were outstanding. I had no problems and enjoyed every single meal in the main dining, the specialty dining and the buffet. Breakfast gets pretty routine pretty quick, but even at home breakfast is routine so I only mentioned that because some people want different stuff every day like lunch and dinner but breakfast ain’t gonna be it. lol
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
There were plenty of activities and shows and things to do on the ship. There was never a shortage or downtime caused by the ships itinerary. The activities like deal or no deal and bingo tended to appeal to people in their 60's though.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The stage shows were awesome so I’ll start there. The musicians and DJs and other performers were great. Here’s the problem. There was zero music for anyone born after 1975 they kept playing ABBA and The Beatles and disco 4 PM at the pool. They’re playing The Beatles just awful Music throughout the ship . So I said the DJ was good, which would sound contrary to what I just said the problem on the ship was the DJ was given a playlist and told to play specific type of music and not allowed to deviate based off the crowd, which is any of you would know would be a DJs primary responsibility to read the crowd. so why the cruise director would cripple the DJ's talent, I don’t know but the music really was a downer and I guarantee based off of discussions with other passengers that we all agree on that. Even people that like the Beatles were like why are we listening to the Beatles at 4 PM at the pool. We should be listening to Caribbean music or dance music or whatever.
Children's Programs
No kids
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The staff and service was phenomenal. Every single staff member I came into contact with was awesome.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The ship is smaller so kind of hard to mess up the design I guess lol. It’s easy to move around the shape easy to get around. It was very clean and well thought out of in design.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Smaller older ships so of course the bathroom is smaller, but that was to be expected.
Ship tip
The sports bar is where you’ll find a lot of people looking to have some drinks and watch some tv. Even if the sport that is being played isn’t for you it’s still a gathering spot. They also serve food till like 3 o’clock in the morning.
Of course Puerto Rico is awesome but we got in at like 8 o’clock at night for just a couple hours which was pointless for clients. I’m sure the ship had a reason like it needs to refuel or something which is the only reason I can think of why we would be there at 8 o’clock at night.
Did the catamaran excursion that took us snorkeling, and do a beach and fed us lunch and booze. The snorkeling sucked, but the beach was on a nature preserve that was pretty awesome because you could go hiking or the beach the only problem is is that the time at this beach was pretty short as a good portion of the excursion was the catamaran ride. But we literally walked off the port and onto the catamaran so there was no bus or anything for that which was great. I’ll give the port five stars and the catamaran four
My favorite port as far as instant scenery. I guess because of the volcanic hills and everything it was just awesome. Beach was cool. Cloudy so not the busiest which is just fine.
We just stayed at the port and went to the pool and checked out all the shops. The free pool had a DJ and a couple bars including a pool side swim up bar and really was awesome. The DJ was excellent, 10 times better than the ships music and they had dancers and they were excellent too.
I was on the cruise before you and I agree. There was not enough activities for all age groups. JC Sanchez, the cruise director needs to go back to training. He’s more of a salesman than a cruise director. Everyday on the TV he was advertising either the massages from the spa, the art gallery, or the gift shop. Why isn’t he explaining all the fun things the ship has planned throughout the day? Yes the entertainment on the ship stinks. My worst NCL cruise experience.
