The ship was very clean and new looking. The food was great and there were lots of things to do.

Lots of (well-behaved) kids; they were fun to be around. Very family-oriented, so not the cruise for you if you want adults-only fancy-dress travel.

The ship was a lot smaller than we thought it would be, but that was just our mistake of not really looking at how big it was. The rooms seemed much smaller compared to other cruises, and the beds were VERY uncomfortable. Some people LOVE the freestyle cruising - this was our first time trying it and we decided we didn't like it. Yes the ship had a TON of dining options - but only 3 or 4 were actually part of the original fare. The others were all an upcharge. Plus - with no set dining times, one of the more popular free dining options was a 45 minute wait! Not what I want on a cruise... We had fun just because we were with friends and family - but if we had to do it again...we wouldn't choose Norweigan.

The ship was very nice. It seemed very clean and all of the staff we encountered were friendly and went over and beyond what they needed to do to help us. We were always greeted with a pleasant greeting and a smile. Even though the ship was completely full, it seemed like there was always things to do without a wait.

Super Thanksgiving with the whole family. We occupied 4 cabins (3 inside and 1 suite). The staff of the Star took care of every need for the group, including dinner reservations in the main dining rooms for our large group. Our butler service was awesome. The entire crew of the Star was exceptional.

Would never take another cruise again with NCL!

The ship was refurbished a year ago but we experienced several items requiring repair. Also, there was an on again off again strong sewage gas odor on deck eight near staterooms 8100 to 8118. When we complained they appeared to get rid of the odor but it always came back. The sliding doors in the bathroom kept falling off. Several seats in the theater had broken arms and seats.

The crew were constantly cleaning. Great cruise. Our 21-24 year old boys had a blast. Everyone on board was very nice.

The food not that good, One nigth the room was not ready for the kids, we prepares our beds.

I was very disapointed with the dinner menu. limited selection. otherwise breakfast and lunch was great. Ships staff was very friendly and on the ball. Another thing that I liked was that they made sure you washed your hands before going to the buffet.

There was nothing outstanding that would say we must take our next cruise on the NCL Star.

The staff was always professional and pleasant. The embarking seamless as well as the disembarking, which was early which for me with an early flight was a bonus. Food great, ship spotless.

Our first "longer" cruise on Norwegian Cruise Lines. Amenities on the ship were very good. Would suggest a better "map" of the ship's interior and various decks. Good entertainment. Great itinerary. Not a true fan of open dining except for "pay for food" options. Some servings weren't so great, not bad, but somewhat small.

The staff was truly outstanding, the accommodations were above what we anticipated, and the destinations were life changing.

The STAR is the best ship on the water! I can understand why they have received so many awards from the cruise media. Their theme should be "NO PROBLEM", because there is never a problem when you want or ask for something no matter where you are, in the dinning rooms, in your cabin, at the pool, having a spa treatment, you name it - you get it, with a smile to top eveything off! Twenty cruises, three on STAR and we'll be back again and again and again!

The captain handled the vessel very well. The ship had obvious signs of aging, but was still acceptable.

I thought the ship was beautiful. It was a little confusing getting around, but even that got easier as time went on. The shows were exceptional. I loved all of them. If I could have done everything I would have, but just couldn't!
