We were not told that we were leaving port an hour early until the night before. That made arrangements for private tours the next morning impossible to change.

Disembarkation

We arrived 2 hours late in Venice. That meant that many people were stressed out and missed flights. We arrived just in time, but in line for passport control when they called "last call for boarding: our flight. very stressful.

Santorini is a real pain if other ships in port too , We queued 60-90 mins last time to get back We are staying an extra day in Venice after cruise for the same reason you mentioned
