Hi cruisergirl12, I am her daughter. We actually both loved Split. We walked off the ship and went up to a tuk tuk and he have us a great tour for a few hours. We could stop whenever we wanted. Took lots of photos. Look out points high up the hills. Took us to a beach. A park. After we walked around inside the walled city. Shopped and then sat out on the waterfront at a restaurant for a few hours and people watched and enjoyed a great lunch. Walked back to the ship, although got lost along the way, we ended up going through alleys, through a fence and crossed train tracks. It was an adventure, and Split was beautiful. We missed going to Dubrovnik, so one day I'd love to see there as well.
