Bring a variety of medications in case you get sick. Many adults still don't cover their mouth when they cough. I was so fortunate not to get sick. There is room for improvement on the ship regarding germ contamination!

It is a smaller ship, so don't expect all the amenities that you have on larger NCL ships. However, being smaller, you do get better attention at the bars and common areas of the ship, and the ship can dock at all the ports rather than having to anchor away from the dock and you have to be ferried to port.

This is an older ship that does not offer features one might be expecting nowadays. However, the superior service and food quality was among the best we've experienced.

This ship was not originally made for ncl! Its a special ship all on its own! The spirit is a perfect name for this little ship! This was my first cruise experience. At age 22 my parents took me and two friends on our first cruise in 2009! We had a blast! Great entertainment, amazing food, yummy cocktails and beautiful ship! My parents loved this ship just as much as us! My favorite spot galaxy of the stars! Favorite eatery, blue lagoon . My favorite ship til this day!!

Norwegian Spirit may be better for vacations of shorter duration because of the size and age ( very obvious cosmetically).
