Ship was kept up well for an older ship. But small rooms

Small room. We were given a room under the galaxy lounge. It was horrible. Every night had to call front desk to complain about the noise. It was so loud, it was like a party in the room til after eleven. Should not have rooms under the lounge. Very disappointed

It’s easy to look at the decks of a ship. Example, if you are booking a cabin on deck 10, look at the deck plan for deck 9 and 11 to see what is on those decks in the area of the cabin you want. Hopefully this is helpful for your next cruise.

You can pick your stateroom. I always check the ships deck plans prior to booking my cabin. That way I avoid unwanted noises. Sorry you had a bad experience. We like NCL a lot. Every ship is different, keeping that in mind, we always have a wonderful time.

All the same bit difficult to know where to book your room in relation to noise. Our travel agent advised 5 foward was a great part of the ship. Sorry very noisy and flooded passage way for ten days.

I understand that it may be less expensive to book a guarantee cabin, but when you do that you get what you get. It really is worth the extra money to be able to pick your cabin! That being said, you were complaining because of the choice you made, not NCL. The cruise line did exactly what you requested...assigned a cabin.
