Review summary

While some cruisers find this ship "in need of upgrades", we found it charming. It has an older ocean liner feel but the crew takes pride in maintaining the classic decor. Is it ultra modern? No. And there in lies its charm. On our cruise in February of 2019 the ship was spotless, fresh smelling, and frequently being touched up in any areas needing repair. Our inside stateroom was adequate, color scheme was a bit dated but we the oceanview and balcony rooms seemed less so. All in all I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a ship with superb crew, well maintained classic feel, and who isn't swayed by the shiny new ships often lacking in other areas (like service). Where this ship lacks in flash, it makes up for where it counts.

We also loved this ship for the same reasons. It was smaller and felt way more friendly than some other big ships. The staff we superb and our favourite watering hole in the evening was the Shanghai Bar. We also loved the lounge in the day above the bridge it had great staff and was entertaining to see all the activities. The ship was spotless and well run. Would sail on her again.
