Walk the whole ship, soon after boarding. It has many places that are good to hang out while at sea. Also, learn how to get to get off the ship at the ports.

Do not pay for excursions through NCL, find external companies because they literally change half the price for the same excursion and know the ship schedule.

Notice the sincere commitment to maintaining good health. Going into every meal passengers are given spray hand sanitizer and reminded to "...washy, washy, happy, happy!"

If you enjoy the older, smaller ships with old world ambiance, NCL Spirit is a great option. The officers and crew are very responsive, so don't hesitate to ask for something and they will accommodate you. Bring an empty water bottle to fill as bottled water is expensive and you can't purchase and bring on the ship.

norwegian needs to update this ship. Our first cruise on Norwegian and not likely to repeat based on the condition of the ship and inconsistency of the service.

Good ship, a little small, not a lot of extra stuff to do. But the best part of this ship is the staff.

Go to the shows every night, have dinner at The Garden (the boat seems to be more stable and you don't feel the engine like you do at Windows), and go to the Deck on 13 for sunsets.

Book the Shogun Asian restaurant well in advance as there was never less than a 40min wait if just showing up. Very god though and really good service.
