This was our first cruise. We had a wonderful time and learned some things we would do a little different on a cruise but all in all it was a lot of fun and NCL was excellent in all ways,

The size of our room was adequate for two people. Would have been cramped if more then two people. Our room was always clean.
Not sure I would have the extra expense of a balcony. if I cruise again. Did not spend enough time on the balcony. Seemed like every time we opened the doors we would get a blast of cigarette smoke. Not sure if someone was smoking in places they shouldn't have been our it just traveled our way. Rather unpleasant.
The, Acropolis of Athens, the Parthenon and Acropolis Museum were exceptional. Athens was surprisingly dirty with considerable amount of trash and graffiti. However, keep in mind the economic state Greece is in and the funding for basic things are lacking. The people were all very friendly.
Enjoyed this port would have liked to had a different tour guide for our excursion. Malta is European Capital of Culture by the European Union for the year 2018 and we heard this over and over again through out our tour. Could have used more of the history and things we were seeing then the advertising.
Took the excursion that had a little of everything including Mt. Etna which was in a cloud of fog. The bus ride up Mt. Etna was not enjoyable because of the low visibility. It did not feel safe at all. Once on top the clouds were not an issue. However, I would have like to have the option to have spent the day in Toarmina instead of risking the clouds (and drive) up Mt. Etna.
