Review summary

This cruise is absolutely worth it. The smaller ship, the amazing staff, and the ports were just incredible. There is so much to see and do - you won't be bored. I would definitely recommend this cruise for someone wanting a taste of the Mediterranean.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The cruise terminal is currently under construction, so things are a bit chaotic. However, the desk agent was friendly.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The servers were absolutely amazing. The restaurants were delicious - do check out Cagney's for a quiet meal or the Windows Dining Room for a view at sea.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Entertainment

3 out of 5
There could have been a wider variety of shows and entertainment available.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
PHENOMENAL! Our room steward, Joseph, was so very kind. Those who served us at the meals were professional. And, those who you passed in the halls were kind and greeted you!

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

For the cost, it's tough to beat. Our rom was a bit larger than one might expect and we found that for three people, it worked just fine.

Ship tip

Try the different restaurants and get to know the staff - they are so friendly!

Ports of call

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

4 out of 5
Civitavecchia is really not Rome - it's quite a distance away.

Mykonos, Greece

5 out of 5
Absolutely beautiful. We did have to take a small boat from the cruise ship to shore, but it was so worth it. Just go get lost in the town and eat gelato!

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

5 out of 5
Highly would recommend getting a hop on-hop off bus tour. It picks you up right at the port and takes you in to town to see the sights.

Rhodes, Greece

4 out of 5
Not as much to see here, but the castle is worth the visit.

Santorini, Greece

5 out of 5
You just can't get enough of this place. Take the cable car up to Fira, then take the public bus to Oia (so much cheaper than a taxi or private car). The views from Oia are simply stunning. Get a restaurant with a view!

Souda (Chania), Crete

5 out of 5
This port is actually surprising. There isn't much to do in Souda, so take the public bus (meets right at the port) to Chania and walk around the town - so beautiful!

Valletta, Malta

5 out of 5
Unfortunately, we didn't have much time here due to a delay. However, take a tour of the town (either use the stairs of the elevator). So beautiful with great restaurants.

Messina, Sicily

5 out of 5
Definitely take the train from Messina to Taormina - you won't regret it! The views of the coast and the town itself are amazing.

Naples, Italy

5 out of 5
Naples is a big mess. Get out of town to see the Amalfi Coast / Sorrento. We used Can't Be Missed Tours - they picked us up right at the cruise terminal and brought us back with time to spare. Worth the visit!

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
If only we could have stayed on the ship a bit longer.
