We booked this cruise because of the itinerary and are very happy we did this. Great itinerary. HOWEVER, we had two very rocky days at sea. We had 17 foot waves for over 36 hours. I'm not sure this ship was designed for these type of waves and swells. On the second night at sea, many passengers said they had difficulty not being rocked out of their beds.

I will take this cruise again some day to visit the ports we missed due to weather.

This is a great cruise for history lovers. Every port has some very interesting venues to see and learn something new. Since I went in December, this was not a typical go to the sun type vacation, but the history and culture more than made up for the low temperatures. Still managed to come back with a tan.

A good price bargain for booking a year and a half in advance. Interesting ports of call itinerary. An aging ship too small for 2200 passengers. Do not need shopping opportunities on excursions.

The ports of call were good...places we hadn't been to before. The ship was just ok...old...and entertainment we had seen before. We were surprised how many smokers there were on the ship. Cigarette smoke wafted down one stairwell/elevator area in particular.

great cruise overall food entertainment tours service. We have cruised on other ships that were not as attentive as yours in the above mentioned areas.

Highly recommend this cruise! We bought the beverage plan and may rethink that going forward, especially if taking as many excursions as we did. The average drink is $10., you do the math. Do not splurge for the wi-fi, it is nice to disconnect. Not to mention we heard from those who did and they had terrible coverage.

WE ONLY WISH TO SAY THAT WE WERE REALLY SATISFIED WITH THIS CRUISE EXPERIENCE, THIS BEING OUR 4TH NCL CRUISE. ANYWAY, IN CASE OF A FUTURE NCL CRUISE WE WOULD SELECT A VESSEL NOT AS OLD AS THE SPITIR.

We had a fabulous time on the ship and at each port. This is a great cruise to both relax and explore. I would recommend that if you love history or are looking for an exciting vacation, do this cruise while you're young. As young adults, we came back from each port exhausted. There is so much to see and most of the old towns you visit require a lot of walking - and walking on uneven steps and cobblestone streets. I also believe we got lucky with the time of year. We went during the first two weeks of November which resulted in fewer crowds and lower prices at flea markets. If each port was filled with another 6,000 people, I believe my review would probably be a bit different. I would highly recommend this cruise to others!

We chose this cruise based on the itinerary and not the cruise line. The ship needs a desperate update and maintenance. The staff needs more training and work on consistency of standards.

Love this cruise line, especially the food and staff! Every port gave me a great experience. The perks from Norwegian are a great incentive for loyal customers. Can't wait to plan our next one!

Great cruise. I would do it again. Excursions were pretty great, food was ok, staff not bad. It was exhausting but a great adventure. The entertainment on the ship was awesome.

This cruise is absolutely worth it. The smaller ship, the amazing staff, and the ports were just incredible. There is so much to see and do - you won't be bored. I would definitely recommend this cruise for someone wanting a taste of the Mediterranean.

Although we missed out on Malta and got pick pocketed in Naples we had a great time, we are looking forward to visiting these ports in the future and hopefully on Norwegian as we had a relatively good time.

Overall a great experience. Committed to take at least two more cruises with Norwegian. Staff was very attentive, shows were entertaining, and the ports were worth seeing. Wished we had more time in several of the ports but got to see highlights in most.

Great ship, outstanding staff & very clean, and interesting ports. Food was only average or less, especially dinning room food. Recommend you improve it or turn it into another buffet / modified to be a combination of buffet and dinning room (service).

For destinations you could not beat this cruise!!!!!! But for accommodations it was bad. Also it felt like we were being "nickeled and dimed" to death. This ship is old and not clean and this made coming back on the ship discouraging. The best place was the "Raffles Terrace". It was clean, beautiful views and the crew was awesome.

Would love to go again. The staff made all the difference. Wish I didn't have to go. Go see the world. It is worth it. Eat good food, drink good wine, meet new people
