Ship was terrific -- facilities were very good and accommodations excellent!

This was our 10th cruise overall and 3rd with NCL. The friendliness on the staff was about 50/50, some very friendly, other not too friendly. The ship has recently under gone some renovations, but some areas needed work. And while overall it was a bit disappointing, we feel it was just a bit of the "luck of the draw," but in no way would we not ever sail NCl again.

The Spirt was a wonderful hotel on the water. Always clean and organized. The shows were delightful,the shopping was wonderful, and the staff was the friendliest I have ever encounted.

The ship is beautiful and very well laid out other than there is no dance floor near the pool where the band played. My balcony room was always kept immaculate. Small but plenty of storage and comfortable.

Great ship...I've been on it before. Lot's of "hide-away" areas to chill out or party. Highly recommend Henry's Pub and Champagne Charlie's.

My husband and I were literally ready to throw ourselves overboard by the 5th day on this ship. The first 2 days of sailing were okay because we were exploring all that the ship had to offer. Then we spent days 3-5 on shore in Bermuda. However, on the way home we were incredibly BORED. There is not much to do on the boat other than drink and eat. We were constantly bombarded by waiters asking if we wanted an overpriced drink which got irritating when you're trying to relax. I'm not looking for parties or anything like that but atleast some activities that don't require me to spend more money like the BINGO they were constantly trying to get me to go to. This was my first and last cruise.

Overall, this was a really good cruise. We especially liked the quality and variety of nighttime entertainment and activities - they had lots of fun shows and parties. We also liked staying in Bermuda for 3 full days, although we wished the ship had provided us with more information about the port - it was hard to figure out how to get around the island and where to go at first. The food quality was great, but we were very not happy to find out that certain "specialty" restaurants charged a cover to eat there. We weren't told this beforehand, and thought all food was included in the cruise price. Most of the time we ate at the main dining rooms and non-specialty areas, and the food was great there, and we hardly ever had to wait for a table. Warning to first-time cruisers: there are a lot of undisclosed costs. Alcoholic drinks are very expensive, and they charge for things like soda and bottled water. Overall though, this cruise was a really good vacation choice.

had false advertizing which I highly paid for by trusting them. They do not back their claim that they reimburse deals found alot cheaper on their competition's website. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING WITH . The trip itself was fun, except knowing that I paid the price of a suite for a low category balcony.

Our overall impression of the ship was it was very small and it rocked a lot. We had headaches and felt sick whenever we were at sea.

Felt service and food was substandard. Was very annoyed by pushiness of drink staff and constant sales offers. Could hear disco and snoring in next cabin all night long.

Have been aboard many NCL's ships. I found the Spirit clean and most of the staff pleasant. Did not appreciate the constant selling on board especialyy at swimming pool area. If I had a desire to have a drink, there were plenty of staff. to ask. I didn't need to be asked if I wanted a drink every time a different staff member went by. Boarding was long...As a matter of fact, too much on board selling.

After being on 10 cruises, I was vrey disaapointed with the service we recieved. It seems that since the staff does not have to 'work' for their tips, they don't smile and the dinner service was very slow. We have 2 children and shouldn't have to sit in the dinning room for 2 hours waiting for food. It's necessary to go to the dinning room if you want decent food. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke so bad when we arrived. It had to be sanitized daily. 1/2 way through the cruise they provided us with a air purifier. We were not able to use the closet for clean clothes, since the smell was so bad in there. We challenged the $252 in gratuities we were charged. $12 per day for anyone over the age of 3. I feel I serviced my children more than the staff did, and we received horrible service all week. Bermuda is beautiful and the weather was great...so we had a great time anyway. You should have a good time as long as your expectations are not too high. Our next cruise will not be with Norwegian!

Nice ship but the constant selling made the trip unenjoyable

I have been on the Spirit befroe and definately loved it!

The ship was clean and the staff was very accommodating

embarkation and disembarkation was mass confusion. I found myself comparing it to Holland America, which is a cruise line I have been on many times. There is no comparison.

Food was not good compared to what we paid. Paid $25.00 extra for Gagny's and not worth it. I have cruised several times with Royal Caribbean and no comparism. Ran out of food and one morning for breakfast at 10:00am ...no pancakes or waffles and I wanted to have. Shows were disappointing. No quiet bars to have a drink or smoke

The ship, built originally for Star Lines and purchased by NCL, was well designed.

I will say upfront, this is the best ship I have been on. all the staff treated my wife and I like royalty.great rooms,excelent decor, awsome party's and formal functions. you never needed to ask for anything, because beforeyou could,or if you did you would have it so fast, you could'nt even blink.the captain was available just about whenever.My wife and I will cruise this ship whenever possible.overall the best ship,and services with a smile,by far.
