Review summary

The ship, built originally for Star Lines and purchased by NCL, was well designed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Amazing variety, particularly in the 12th deck cafeteria. Perhaps because the waiters and cabin attendants were mostly East Asians, the food included excellent Indian, Thai, and other dishes.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
We are uninterested in the loud Vegas style shows, so avoided all but the magician act.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Uniformly friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
They squeezed a King size bed (actually twins pushed together) into the cabin so that it was very difficult to get in on the right side. It seemed to me that this was for their convenience, not ours.

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

3 out of 5
The Royal Naval Dockyard is not as charming as the town of St. George, where NCL used to dock. Many of the dockyard buildings are in ruin.
Don't Miss: The choo-choo train that takes you around and saves you walking into town.

Pros: Food

Cons: Flea Market in the Main Lobby
