Free Casinos at Sea trip.. It was ok. Basically took the ship here in DR instead of flying. Probably will not fail on any NCL ship again, due to the ridiculous hassle at the end.....

This was our first cruise and we had a blast. Would definitely come back again!

Great first cruise. Introduction to Caribbean and cruising solo.

Great for a solo trip in the offseason to get away, but know that you're on an older and smaller ship that will show its age and feel cramped sometimes.

Huge paradigm shift in how I feel about this class of ship. The teeny tiny ship packed a huge punch.

Overall good service, good activities, a few very nice ports, missed Martha's vineyard. The food is not the good part-repetitive, taste just OK.

Not the best but not the worst cruise and I have been on lots.

Wendy and Paul Troup Cabin # 9047 Reservation # 53198674 Sail Date 9/11/2023 Good morning, My wife and I were on the 9/11/2023 sailing on the “Sky” out of Quebec City. Let me start by saying this was by far the worst cruise experience ever. We understand that no one controls the weather but Hurricane Lee was just one of the issues we had with this ship and this cruise. • Travel booked through NCL – we took advantage of the 2-for-1 airline deal on this particular cruise. However, we did not realize that the flights would be going into Montreal and not Quebec City. Then once we figured out we would be responsible for the 3-hour shuttle to Quebec City, it was too late to change anything. • Food – the quality of the food was terrible. o Cagneys – My wife’s steak lacked flavor and was very tough. It was not tender at all. During the same meal, I ordered the lobster bisque was not even edible. o Main dining room – we tried the main dining room every night we were not in one of the specialty restaurants. The only good meal I had in the main dining room was the rotisserie chicken. Here is a list of the other meals I had that were not good  Cuban seasoned chicken was very dry  Pecan encrusted turkey medallions were very dry and tough  Braised brisket – was inedible – very fatty and difficult to cut  Some kind of Braised beef pasta – again the meat was tough to eat o Buffet – the food on the buffet was terrible. I remember two specific dishes that were indicative of the entire buffet. I got Chicken Milanese one day and could not even eat it because it was so tough. Another day I got an Indian chicken dish that when I went to eat it, I felt like I was chewing on sand. The breakfast buffet was also not very good and had a limited selection. o • Activities/entertainment • Communication from Captain – it would have been nice if the captain would have communicated sooner about the plans for how we would handle Hurricane Lee. I know I talked to several passengers that stated if they would have know we were going to spend so much time at sea, they would have disembarked on Prince Edward Island and flown home. The seas were so rough that someone could have gotten hurt. • NCL app – the app did not always appear to be up to date. Towards the end of the cruise the app did not even show activities from the next day. Also, it would have been nice if the app would have had the capability to send reminders for events and activities that were “marked”. Positives • Staff o Virginia Carpio - main dining room waitress. We met Virginia on the second night of the cruise. She was amazing. She made a point to remember our preferences. Also, there was one night we could not sit in her section and she made a point to come over a speak with us. We loved her. o Robert Nemes – Room steward – Robert was wonderful. He remembered our names and was very friendly. He was also very patient with us and our extended sleeping schedule (see above for lack of activities). o Rizky Firmansyah – Local Bar very good service o James Ramos – Local Bar – very good service o Whitney Hammond – Bistro and buffet – very friendly. Saw her at both the Bistro and the buffet. o Muhammad Jhuboo – Bliss – very attentive and offered great service. • Bistro – we ate at the Bistro on two nights and enjoyed it both times. • Embarkation/Disembarkation – both the embarkation and disembarkation went very smooth. •

Free at sea package made it more tempting to do excursions, but I forgot to bring binoculars so I didn't get to see a lot of wildlife from the cruise ship. I did see them on excursions

This was my first cruise, my husbands second and our 2 year anniversary trip. Because the boat is small we made tons of friends and hung out with them a lot. The staff onboard was amazing. They served us hand and foot. However, the food on the ship was okay. The buffet was terrible and we only went once cause of that reason. The dining rooms were all good but some nights the dinners were terrible. Cagney’s was good but the food was very very salty. I wouldn’t pay to go there. The ship is too small for a 10 day cruise because the entertainment is very limited. They need more of a variety. The comedian was hilarious and he should’ve had more shows. The couples game was awesome but should’ve done more couples games. People brought their kids to the adult shows which wasn’t cool and teenagers were in the adult karaoke each night and the staff never kicked them out so kids on the cruise were out of control. Overall it was an amazing cruise but we wouldn’t go on this ship again.

This is the worst cruise line to choose for your vacation. I booked a cruise for me and my wife and they had what they call "free at see" which is not free at all! they charged us $654 for gratuities and on top of that they add another $600 without telling you when paying for the cruise under service charge, this charge only shows after you get your cruise confirmation and doesn't show when booking the cruise so you are left with no option. Their customer service is also very rude over the phone, they don't provide any details or information regarding what's actually included in the trip and all they care about is to get you to pay, pay and pay. I would not recommend Norwegian to anyone. All other cruise lines are very descriptive when listing any additional charges or fees, I guess no one learns for free.

If I were a billionaire I’d have my own yacht. But I’m not / ain’t got no yacht, so this will have to do. This was my third cruise on the Sky. It’s my favorite size of ship — not too small, not big at all. Excellent staff throughout. Low key. Not too crowded. We were in an owner’s suite so my review reflects the service received / the experience one has with a suite.

The cruise was good but never great. We drove to Miami port and the cruise was not worth the drive from North Florida. Their service needs improvement. We'll stay with NCL but next time a bigger ship and longer cruise.

Did this ship 12 months ago and enjoyed even more this time

Not worth what we paid. Didn’t stop at the main private island. Had to pay to have fun (bingo, family feud, casino, etc) the pool was toxic. Didn’t do anything in Nassau because we planned on doing everything on the next island but it was canceled.

My favorite things: the food, the drinks, ( they could have been a bit stronger) the pool. The whirl pool. The crew. The motion of the ocean.

Overall, we had a great time. The great stir up cay was canceled due to high winds.

The island ports selection is very good - nice variety. Ship needs to be modernized (dining rooms and cabins) Rooms are too small. Staff - mostly friendly and helpful with a few exceptions in the Crossings Restaurant. Tour Excursions person appeared dis interested and standoffish.

Food wise the worst cruise ever . Meat was dry and overcooked. Not much variety in the menu. Not enough vegetables, mashed potatoes only once. Food not hot enough
