Review summary

If I were a billionaire I’d have my own yacht. But I’m not / ain’t got no yacht, so this will have to do. This was my third cruise on the Sky. It’s my favorite size of ship — not too small, not big at all. Excellent staff throughout. Low key. Not too crowded. We were in an owner’s suite so my review reflects the service received / the experience one has with a suite.

Suite check in / smooth and quick. Some family also traveling with us were not in a suite but paid extra for priority and were checked in and on the boat in 15 minutes.

Food and Dining

All things considered, good food and good drinks. MDR pleasant and above average. Good wine selection, both by glass and bottle. Please see individual reviews of specialty. Wouldn’t spend at Cagney’s again, but the Italian was worth it.

We were in a suite so the level of service was elevated. Excellent service across the board. Could not have been better. In the MDRs the service was very good. No complaints whatsoever.

Beautiful, spacious. Can’t beat the big fat balcony with a hot tub. Excellent room steward and butler.

Ship tip

This is a small ship, which I prefer. Prepare to chill out. And you may bring as many bottles of wine as you like (corkage fee applies, but you come out ahead).

Did a private excursion / charter boat for snorkeling. Great fun. All local folks we dealt with were very nice. Cozumel area at pier is beyond commercialized. It’s nuts.
