Review summary

The island ports selection is very good - nice variety. Ship needs to be modernized (dining rooms and cabins) Rooms are too small. Staff - mostly friendly and helpful with a few exceptions in the Crossings Restaurant. Tour Excursions person appeared dis interested and standoffish.

A hostess in the Crossings Restaurant was rude an accommodating; wouldn't seat us. Spoke later to Hassan ( manager) who assisted us with the situation.

The tour was okay but the Rum factory experience was a disaster, we had to wait for 40 minutes to get in.

Booked a cruise through RCI for a tour of Old San Juan which was underwhelming. The tour guide did not share much about the area; and stood under his umbrella by himself most of the time, only showed two major sites.

Beautiful views, everything about the tour was not communicated clearly such as the Sky lift ( which is a major thing). Also there was not enough sharing of information of the sites. The information had to be solicited but there was no intercom from the passengers to the driver which could potentially be dangerours.

Were all the excursions you mentioned booked through NCL? If so, those concerns are valid. If not, it would be helpful to know who the excursions were booked through; you can’t really blame NCL if they didn’t arrange them.
