We recently took a cruise on the Norwegian Sky for my daughters college graduation. It was my daughters first cruise. It was my first cruise as an adult. We were both tremendously pleased with the Freestyle of the cruise as I am a morning person and she is a night person. The first morning of the trip I meet a young lady traveling alone, she was just a few years older than my daughter. We met up with her later that day and the two of them partied every night of the cruise. We also took a couple of day excursions together. There was always something to do on and off the ship. Every evening we found a program in our room with all the next days events available to choose from for events on the island were landing on in the morning and events available from morning and through the night on the ship. There were several buffets available throughout the day to eat and drink from as you pleased. The food was always fresh and delicious. In addition there were several specialty restaurants to choose from. The last day of the trip we landed on the Norwegians private island where they provided a beach party for us with a barbeque, a market, scuba diving, parachuting and more. We had a great time!

The over all trip was excellent and we had agood time including the service by trained staff.

I must say that overall I was very displeased. It started when we got to our room and discovered that our lights were burnt out! We were on the Sky in room 6010. After we realized we had no main cabin light we moved on to the bed where we discovered BLOOD stains on the pillows. Actual streaks of blood all over our pillows. There were black stains with yellow rings as well on our bed cover. After this discovery we immediately went to the reception desk to complain and ask for an upgrade, which did not happen. The receptionist, who was very kind, said he would get our room a full set of new linens and fixed lights. When we returned to the room it was already being worked on. We were doing well until the next day when we realized that the pillows had been FLIPPED OVER, so that now the blood was on the underside of the pillow, hidden from view. This made us investigate the covers, and yes, much to our dismay, the covers and been flipped and turned so that the stains were now on the underside next to the foot of the bed. Not only that, they had never fixed our cabin lights, so we had to leave the window open for decent lighting. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTING. We then enjoyed a day of rain on our first island right after a brush fire, so our excursion was plenty of dead trees and very, very wet. our second island was a pleasing day out. We were very happy with Nassau and Atlantis Resort. Sadly, and mush to our sadness, the third island, Great Stirrup Cay, was canceled due to morning thunderstorms, which was the island where we would spend the most of our day with the offered excursions. We had saved most of our money to enjoy all of the excursions the last island would offer only to have that day completely canceled. To be completely honest, after finding blood on my pillow and not having it taken care of after complaining, only to find it flipped over!, I will never be on another Norwegian Cruise, nor will I ever tell and friends or family to go on one.

The ship was beautifully fitted out, everything seemed new, and even when things didn't work i.e. the toilet didn't flush it was sorted out quickly and efficiently. The staff were all, to a man, so helpful, polite and efficient. Food was also excellent.

GREAT CRUISE GREAT PRIVATE BEACH

The trip was better than you could expect on a 4 day mini cruise. We have cruised before with other cruise line and was not sure what to expect...well let me tell you this was a fantastic time NCL has got to be the most laid back and do as you please when ever. The dinning was awesome eat when you want...compared to other ship eat at your scheduled dinner time. The variety was better than expected. I would definetly recommend this ship and itenarary

First impressions were great and exciting. The fact that we we were directed to park in "G" parking facility and never told about the $80.00 charge when we returned was unacceptable.

I was not impress with the ship. It seemed like it was difficult to get around. There wasn't as many elevators. Always waiting.

We have been on several cruise lines and multiple cruises. This is by far the absolute worse cruise ever! There was virtually no service in either the staterooms or in the dining areas. They never cleaned the staterooms. The stateroom was so small you literally had to crawl over someone to get to the bathroom. The people in the dining rooms would not wait tables. They got thier tips whether or not they watied tables so they would not. It took a minimum of 2 hours to eat dinner due to no service. Food was improperly cooked. The people at the service desk was not interested. The bed was broken. In the dining room, the formal night , lobster was tiny bits in some heavy butter sauce over overcooked pasta. THe ship itself was very nice. THe service was horrible and the staterooms were a joke.

Super freindly staff. The entertainment staff were delightful. The ship was very clean and comfortable.

We have been on about 8 cruises and this ship norweign sky was nice. We have been on more glamorous ships. We really enjoyed the free style cruising and being able to eat whenever you want and to dress comfortable. I would reccommend this ship for first time cruisers.

We would not cruise with NCL again. Got a lot less value out of this one compared to Princess, Royal Carribbean, etc.

The cruise was nice and relaxing, we didn't get to stop in Freeport because of the winds on the ocean, which I know is not their fault but, I booked this cruise because of the variety of stops. They only credited us $11.95 each because we didn't stop there. I thought there should have been a larger credit. Like I said, I choose this cruise because of all the stops in the short amount of days.

Pool not heated....not enjoyable by anyone - even the kids were complaining! The great areas of the ship were going to cost you. They made a lot of room for shops, spa, photo opportunities, coffee bars, etc - anything to make more money. Ping pong and shuffle board were the only free enoyable unscheduled passtimes. Cruise line did not allow us to go on our pre-purchased excursion because they were reduced the allowance of participants. We had to pay an additional $150 per person to choose something else in order to have plans. They could have told us ahead of time to allow for researching alternatives. How can they sell something they're not guaranteed!? I'm upset that we could have been left with nothing to do except hanging out on a beach all day, but also that I had to pay another $500 in order to participate in an excursion last minute. Not in the budget. All they said at Norweigen was it was out of their control. Not acceptable!

The cruise was very enjoyable

My fiance and I felt like royalty. The staff was excellent, the food was by far exquisive. We was so pleased with everything, we put a down payment for a future cruise. I would highly recommend going on a cruise with the Norwegian Sky. You will never run out of things to do. There are several pools, hot tubs, restaurants, an arcade room. They even have a baby sitting service if you want to dance the night away at one of the disco clubs. There is a television studio, comedians, magicians an exercise room. Trust me you will not have one dull moment.

The cruiseline knew that I had an infant, but put us in a room w/no elevator access and we had a stroller. They could not move us because they were sold out so they gave us acccess to the employee elevator. We quit using it, because we were interogated everytime we use it. So I spent a lot of time in my room, because we could not get anywhere. The freestyle dining experience was not very nice. They rush you through and anytime you asked for something was treated like they were going out of there way. They were too busy trying to get people in and out.

I was really impressed. It was my first time on a cruise ship so I was a little hesitant. But the friendly staff made my stay more comfortable. They really go out of their way to make you feel like you are there only special guest.

The ship was clean and fresh looking. The freestyle dining was the best. Loved it all!

From the moment we entered our cabin until the last day we left, we were faced with dealing with a bathroom stench that brought me to the point of vomiting. We told the cabin steward immediately and someone eventually came to try to fix the problem. Whatever the plumber did it only resolve the problem for a few hours before the stench returned. We called the reception desk and was told that someone would come up. They never did. The next day we went to the reception desk and again was told the someone would come to fix it. After being gone all day on our excursion trip when we returned the problem was still not fixed. The next day we called the reception desk and finally they sent someone. Finally the problem got fixed but of course it was our last night on the cruise and we left feling very disappointed with the whole trip. It was our fist wedding anniversary and this experience really spoiled it for me and my wife. I will never sail with Norwegian Cruise Line again.
