For the price of this cruise and the last minute planning it was probably one of the most stress free trips my husband and I have taken. The atmosphere on the ship is totally accepting of all walks of life. If you want to dress up you do. If you want to stay in shorts and tank tops you do. No matter how you look you can go anywhere you want.

This was my second cruise and in comparison to it the thing I like the least was that there wasn't enough entertainment. The first cruise I went on there was something to do every minute while on board and I went with a large group so it was perfect this time it was our wedding anniversary and we spent a lot of time of the ship or sleeping. Our first port of call was Freeport and we did not like it at all there was nothing to do there but shop at the local vendors. Nassau was much better. My recommendation to future cruisers is to find an excursion at each port of call

We never got to board the ship. There were four of us and we are all American. We brought all of the specified paper work however, my mother brought her certificate of birth, not birth certificate. She had no idea that the laws have changed and that she needed anything different. She recieved her license, social security card and marriage license with that certificate. The people at the port had us running all over Miami to get a temporary passport. We had to PAY to have pictures and wait in a line for 3 1/2 hours. Then, once we finally were waited to recieve a quick passport they told us, "you can't get a passport with this birth certificate you should have known better!" So, we ran all over the town of Miami spent money on a taxi, pictures for the passport etc and when we got back to the cruise port and told them what happened they simply told us there was nothing they could do and we were not able to board the ship. They led us to believe if we waited in all these long lines and called these people we would have been able to board the ship. However, we went through an entire day of running around miami for n reason. What was most annoying is that we were obviousally Americans and had proof of it (ex. voting card, my mothers childrens, who were US citizens, birth certificates! How could we be Americans and she isnt if shes married to my father!) On top of all this they told us there was nothing they could do for us and we would get NO refund. I am sure the cruise would have been great but, I am very disapointed how NCL is not able to assist in providing excellent customer service for all of the money we basically donated to them. This is a very unfortunate situation however, if you do go on this cruise make sure you have the proper updated paperwork because even if it is obvious you are a U.S. citizen they only accept certain proofs of citizenship.

The staff was very friendly! Michael (housekeeping) was very friendly and helpful. The ship had something to do for all ages! The food was also great. I recommended this ship to friends who also enjoyed their cruise.

Castaway Cay was very nice for a cruise-company-owned island. I rate this cruise as fair, simply because compared to any other cruise line (and even past NCL cruises), it didnt even come close. The food, the decor of the boat, the staff, etc., were all marginal at best. Part of the problem with the staff, especially the dining room waiters, is that because of the "freestyle dining", they no longer work toward getting better tips (which I frequently give to great wait-staff I've had on past cruises). Also, the average worker I walked by on the boat rarely said hi, and many didnt even hold a door open for me! Another example would be when we arrived at our room, there were guests in there! The guests claimed their keys let them in, but the staff said the door must have been propped open. I expected much better than this from NCL. My past NCL cruise was on the Norway, which was far a superior experience. The Sky was truley dissapointing.

I was totally disappointed with NCL I went on a 3 day Bahamas Cruise this weekend it was my first Cruise that was under 5 days and it was my first Bahamas Cruise I have been on other Cruise Lines and this was my 2nd time on NCL and I was very disappointed with the NCL Sky.. The people on the boat were pretty Ghetto and Young I felt like I was on a Carnival or Some other Lower Class type ship... The Restaurants were Horrible I used to love Cruises for the good food but this Ship not so much the only good meals we had were when we paid the extra cover charge and ate at Cagneys the last 2 nights of the Cruise.. Our room was tiny and outdated with a tiny 13 inch tube tv I mean lets get with the times and update a little here for the price we are paying not only for the Cruise but also had a 500 drink and extra cover charge food bill to be added on and I felt like we were on a Floating Double Wide... Even the Service on the ship was major lacking it took like 15-20 min to get a drink by the pool that I had to pay 15+ bucks for... The only thing that saved the whole experience was the company that I was with... I will never cruise on NCL again and Im not even sure after this experience if I will go on a cruise again... Id rather spend the weekend at a Ritz or Four Seasons Resort being pampered or at Atlantis or something... Never Again....

This was my 6th cruise overall, but my first and last with Norwegian.This was a last minute cruise, so we got what we paid for. However, we compared it to similar size ships on other cruise lines we'd been on, and were disappointed in several areas like the food selection at the Buffet; the small pool area; No refills on the specialty cup drinks; Bed was too hard; limited night clubs; No general store on board -- mostly jewlery and namebrand stores. But some pro's included -- not as many smaller children running around ; the hot tubs were for adults ; the staff was very friendly; antibacterial soap dispensers everywhere you turned; NCL Private Island -Great Stirrup Cay was the BEST ! Awesome day at the beach. The Palace Dining room was VERY NICE and freestyle dining was great. Since we only went to the dining room once during the 5 day trip, and we never saw our room steward -- I felt that the $12 / pp per day was a little too steep. But I didn't want to wait 30 minutes in line at the pursors desk to get it adjusted. Drinks were good, but expensive and you had to buy & pay for the souvenir cup every time even though you just wanted a refill. I ended up paying for about 12 plastic souvenir cups just to get the drink. Who wants to bring home all those cups ?? Especially if you are limited with your luggage. Overall the trip was a nice getaway to a warm place for my husband and I when it was cold and dreary at home in New England. But I think I'll stick with the other 2 major cruiselines in the future.

I truely enjoyed myself, it was a great ship and great trip.

This was my second NCL cruise but this second version of freestyle dining is not a good deal. My main complaint is that the food at the free restaurants is really average, its like going to Bob Evans or something like that, is not cruise quality. They have two free venues but both offer the same menu on the same day. I think they should lower the price of the french and italian restaurant. The food at the italian restaurant was comparable to Olive Graden, but I have to pay, not free. The decor on the italian restaurant was so simple...Crossings restaurant decor and service was awful. My second biggest complaint is about the kids..I have a 4 & 8 year old and when they saw the kids pool, they wanted to get out of the ship!! The kids program is two little rooms in the corner of the ship with a couple of Wii's (so is called the kids corner) . My kids did not like it...although they like the facilitators and that made the difference. Finally, they do not have kids program during the day, so if you wnat to do an adult excursion you have to pay babysiiting fees, and your kids get stuck in the corner....awful. We tried to make the best out of it, but I will not do it again.

I ENJOYED MY CRUISE THE ROOMS WERE ALWAYS CLEAN EVERYTIME YOU LEFT THEM, IT MADE YOU FEEL THAT SOMEONE WAS WATCHING YOUR EVERY MOVE. THE STAFF WAS EXCELLENT ALWAYS WILLING TO ASSIST.

The ship was nice, and clean. The inside room was small, but we expected that since we have been on ships before. This was our 1st time booking an inside cabin. The beds were very firm and I had a difficult time staying asleep. we were on the 10th deck, so that was nice, the deck above had the pools and cafeteria, so we could use the step to go up and down. The freestyle dining was nice, we went to the dining room only one time. The staff was very friendly, enjoyed the "Cruise Director" and the "Bingo boy" . We had a nice time, too bad it was only for 3 nights.

Good mix of variety and space

we loved the cruise director and his crew, and the entertainment was fun. it was fun to see off the front of the ship and the back of the ship, and there were plenty of good views off the ship

My husband and I were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. We were in agreement that this cruise was the best vacation we have ever had, and we have been many places.

Good ship. Prieline needs t improve on baorad spending procdures.

Overall the ship was beautiful. The food was excellent and so was the entertainment. My husband and our 15 year old daughter went and all of us enjoyed the trip.

The Ship was nice but there wasnt enough things to do, there wasnt a variety of foods to choose from, everything that was available and free to eat and drink I was allergic to, my laptop was ruined and the things they told me was free wasnt.

This was my first cruise and I was quite apprehensive about going. I am thrilled to say that this was the best vacation I have ever had. The entertainment on the ship was first class. The staff was very present and helpful. While at the ports I spoke with other folks who were on other cruise lines, since I had nothing to compare my experience to, and it was reinforced that Norwegien puts forth the best experience.

The crew was very polite and helpful. They were very knowledgable. The activities were fabulous
