Chocolate buffet is really fun.... have someone in your party find a seat so you have somewhere to sit when you finally get your food.

The food was always top notch! I did ok on my weight but the spouse gained 7 pounds. I think that was due to the fact everything was sooo good.

The buffet was always VERY crowded, and both complimentary restaurants were VERY full at normal eating hours. Specialty restaurants were never crowded...but didn't seem very appealing. The German Bierfest on the deck was delicious, but it was too cold to eat outside!

Bring your own water and soda. I wonder why you can't get a CocaCola on board?? Be be prepared to pay extra if you want better than cafeteria style food.

Eat at the restaurants and avoid the crowd at the buffet (however the buffet food is delicious and high quality).

We loved the sit down dinners in Summer Palace and Indigo. Definitely loved the Jewel Gardens and Glass blowing excursion. The staff is wonderful and attentive. When going to the 13th floor, be aware that taking the back elevator means you will have to walk outside for part of it.

Use the full service dining rooms as much as you can, especially for breakfast and dinner. We found them to be much more relaxing than the buffet lines and the waitstaff made a point of filling the tables next to windows first so you didn't miss the views while dining.

1. Go to Indigo Dining Rooms. They are much much quicker than Summer Palace. 2. Deck 7 Promenade is adequate to view the Glacier Bay
