Purchased Anniversary Package and Disembarking Information

Sail Date: August 24, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The only complaints were the Anniversary package: the roses were not in the room upon boarding, the canapes were delivered a day early and in the middle of the day, and disembarking process: there was no explanation sheet left in the state room nor an announcement with regards to luggage placement or coding for pickup of luggage for disembarking the ship. However, the state room steward, food service staff, and entertainment were great. We have great memories thanks to the overall service and friendly staff.
Ship Quality
Does need some carpet mending in traffic area.
Food and Dining
The specialty restaurants were great but the garden cafe food was just warm to luke warm.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Joseph great state room service, Lenoy and his brother in the Restaurant, and hostess of the Summer Palace restaurant.
Entertainment
Children's Programs not applicable for us
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
The train ride to White Pass in Juneau Tray a, and the Lumberjack show in Ketchikan were both entertaining and informative.
Seattle, Washington
Pike Street Market is a good visit.
Juneau, Alaska
Skagway, Alaska
Old miners' town decor was cool but this is one of the more expensive stops. The Christmas store was really blah!!!
Cruise Glacier Bay
Ketchikan, Alaska
This stop could have been longer but we did get to see the salmon run and a great Lumberjack show.
Victoria, British Columbia
Arrived almost to late to shop.

Tip

Try all the restaurants, especially the Summer Palace.
