we recently sailed on noregein pearl and we liked the crew the shows the ship because it was clean and nice

We recently cruised on the Norwegian Pearl. The ship was beatifully decorated. The area that most impressed me was the Reception area. It had a huge wall where they displayed videos/movies, etc. The most impressive was the way you were able to play the game Wii. That was phenominal, a big kids DREAM!

We sailed on the Norwegian Pearl. It was a beautiful ship, full of things to do and enjoy. We even went bowling.

My overall impression of the ship when I first saw it was wow, this is going to be a great adventure, our first vacation in several years, and also celebrating our 31st anniversary. Unfortunately this was not meant to be.

PHYSICALLY THE NCL PEARL IS IMPRESSIVE. FOUR BOWLING LANES, ROCK CLIMBING BEAUTIFUL SPA. WHAT DISAPPOINTS IS THAT THE CREW CAN'T HANDLE IT. THE FOOD WAS A DISASTER. DUE TO CONCERN ABOUT VIRUS OUTBREAK THE CREW WAS ORDERED TO PERSONALLY SERVE EVERYTHING. THIS RESULTED IN LONG LINES FOR EVERYTHING FROM WATER TO CONDIMENTS. I'VE BEEN ON OTHER SHIPS WHERE CONCERN FOR HEALTH DID NOT DETRACT FROM THE CRUISE EXPERIENCE. NOT HERE. NOT NEARLY ENOUGH SEATS FOR BUFETT MEALS

The ship was awesome. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. We thought the amenities were great and had a lot of fun in the hot tubs, pool, slide, rock climbing wall, bowling, shuffleboard, bingo and loved the shows and we were even in the Not So Newlywed Game and won!! We had a lot of fun on the offshore excursions too and saw whales, eagles, and deers. I read some of the other comments and people were saying that they had terrible service, but we found that everyone was very nice and friendly and we had wonderful service from everyone, starting with our cabin attendants

Nice new clean ship with an empty pool...food quality on board is below average. Forcing you to pay $100 nightly for decent food. It felt like a mall rather than a cruise...blue jeans in the fine dining rooms. just cheap and tacky and lots of hidden costs

Food was horrible. Free style sailing is a pain! Hard to get into restaurants, some have $20 cover per person!. Everythjing on this ship costs extra! Rooms are really small and the mirrors were dirty. Rooms are made up as late as 5:00PM. Can't find seating in main dining so you walk around with your plate of food for quite awhile. No trays for food here, they make it difficult to get too much of theawful cafeteria type food. On board "bug" (which I got and was in bed for two days) caused the ship to go into hyper sanitation mode slowing the food process even more as we had to be served everything by the staff. You could see the bottom of your cup through the watered down coffee. They really are focused on the "bottomline" and you feel like your enjoyment is not their primary concern .

Very clean, people very helpful, easy to get to places,loved the free laundry, the food was great

The ship was very clean and the rooms were well maintained. The restaurant and bar service were always VERY slow. The overall service certainly did not warrant the $10 per day per person automatic service charge, nor the "auto gratuity" that was added to every service. We were very offended by the constant pressure to buy pictures, art, jewelry, lotto tickets...They were constantly trying to sell things on board the ship.

iT HAS BEEN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE VIS A VIS TOUR PLANNING, FOOD, AMBEINCE & STAFF COURTESY. EVERYTHING WAS IN PLACE.

Overall, we had a terrific time. the ship is amazing. It is beautiful, very nicly decorated and easy to navigate.

Pearl is good averadge cruise ship, although brand new.

The ship is beautiful, very modern and colorful. My children love it!!! The food in the regular restaurants is bad, not a variety always hot dogs and hamburgers. If you want to eat good food you have to pay extra in an speciallity restaurant but making reservations is really hard.

No tropical music from spanish caribean at all, Food good at the good (with cover charge) restaurants, but not that good at included ones.

The ship is very nicely decorated, but it looks as if they were more interested in using the space to put more specialty restaurants than acitivities space for the guests. The back of the ship barely has space for anything. They crammed a golf putting into what looked like a small batting cage. Bowling is inside a bar? Who thought of that? You have to pay to bowl. I thought that was unfair since other activities are included what is different? The food was mediocre, the choices were terrible and it seemed like more people were going to the specialty restaurants than dining in the main dining room. The service staff was very unfriendly. We had to chase people down to clean our tables in the garden cafe. Staff was very serious and didnt even greet people at the door of the restaurants. They all looked overworked! The night shows were terrible. Terrible magic show, horrible dancers and singers. We expected more of this new ship. What a dissapointment.

New, comfortable, easy to navigate and truly beautiful.

We have decided not to travel on this line again. Our preference is based on the lack of dining. We do not feel we should have to pay for good food and the other resturants on board were pricey. They were good, but if I took the value of what we paid and added the resturant charges for good food, we would have been better off taking another line and been given better service and better tasting food.

As I indicated above the ship was beautiful inside and out. The staff and wait people were very friendly and professional. The cruise went smoothly. The ship was almost full but it never seemed crowded. There were plenty of things to keep one occupied during the sea days and at night. The excursions were handled very professionally and were very informative and well worth the price
