Norwegian Pearl

7 Night Alaska & Glacier Bay (Seattle Roundtrip)

Sail date: May 18, 2008

Ship: Norwegian Pearl

Cabin type: Oceanview

Traveled as: Couple

Review summary

Nice new clean ship with an empty pool...food quality on board is below average. Forcing you to pay $100 nightly for decent food. It felt like a mall rather than a cruise...blue jeans in the fine dining rooms. just cheap and tacky and lots of hidden costs

Ports of call

Ketchikan, Alaska

Victoria, British Columbia

Great little city with pubs, museums whale watches etc.. there for 5 hours from 6pm to 11pm. No ability to enjoy all offered.

Skagway, Alaska

Spent the longest port stop in the worst town. All shore excursions in alaska are extra pricey.

Pros: Leaving the ship.

Cons: Being on the ship.

Recommends Norwegian Pearl? No.
