dirty toilets, unexperiend severs (trend several times to let fall things on guests), unmotivated stewards (only once a week you get fresh lines), you have to hone and chase behind your steward to get the cabine cleaned (you have to follow the stewards timetable not yours), cost us sveral attemts to get at least same amount of towels like guests, only possible to check in luggae over ship and than it was damaged, port tours not recoomendable, due to rain port stop was cancelled without alternative stop

The Pearl is very new and has been sailing only one year so the whole vessel is in great condition. Our room was small but nicely finished, bed was comfortable and the room attendants were always present to clean. The freestyle dining was good but since only the basicis were included in the cruise price, we felt like we were always being changed some small upcharge for this or that. In fact, that was the only part of the cruise we did not like. The onboard entertainment was good and one show in particular stood out (Sharkbait). The singers were great and the barstaff was really good and very quick to refill our drinks.

The ship was gorgeous, and everyone was very helpful.

This was our first cruise,and we had the time of our lives.There were so many smiling faces,and the staff was very helpful .We were very unsure of what we were expected to do,but it didnt take us long to realize that with this cruise line there were no expectations.No set times to be any where.That we really enjoyed.As a matter of fact as soon as we got home we started looking on line for another cruise with Norwegian Pearl.Except next time we are going to take a longer one.Thanks Norwegian For making our first experiance a great one.We will be back soon.

Excelent in most respects.. This was our 2nd NCL cruise (four years earlier) Now, like then, we like the meal setting freedom. Great food, and entertainment. A highlight, the time in Glacier Bay NP. up close to the glaciers. The ease of getting 2000 people ON and OFF the ship..especially the departure in Seattle. Real smooth!

An excellent, very comfortable cruise ship. Only criticism-it was too large for my taste, but all cruise ship these days seem to be too large.

EVEN THOUGH THIS WAS A NEWER SHIP, THE PROMISES MADE WERE NOT LIVED UP TO. WE WERE TOLD DIFFERENT THINGS FROM DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND WERE NOT SURE WHO TO BELIEVE.

The new owners of NCL have turned the "vacation of a lifetime" into an annoying series of money-grubbing events. 1. The shopping director constantly "encouraged" us to waste money on over-priced but worthless so-called gems and varnished fossils. 2. Many more on-board restaurants have been converted into extra cost. I cannot understand extra cost for foods like Italian and Mexican which are prepared with low-cost ingredients. 3. Many of the lectures were not really educational as advertised, but were a phony sales pitch. For example, the Alaska food preparation talk was really to get me to purchase Ulu knives.

Fresh and clean. Didn't feel crowded. Lots of different areas to lounge in. Staff was overly solicitous, got annoying over time. Too many sales presentations, pushing product. Would have preferred more informational seminars on the lands that we were traveling through. Comedy shows were un-funny and often tasteless. Constant pushing of alcohol. Music in the lounges was good.

The cruise through Glacier Bay is not to be missed. We got within what seemed like a couple of hundred feed of the face of the glacier. That said, cruises, of course, are all about separating you from your money. This one was pretty good at that. The best food was at "specialty" restaurants that had a $10-$25 a head cover charge. Bowling cost $5. A visit to the thermal spa (sauna, steam, whirlpool), $20. At one point, the guy in the duty-free shop was out in the passageway, like a hawker on a New York City sidewalk, shouting, "$10 day! Everything on this table,$10!" Most irritating, though, was the waitstaff constantly asking not, "May I get you anything?" Instead, it was "Can I get you a DRINK? Do you want a DOUBLE?"

The ship and the ship's facilities were great - lots to do. The crew works very hard to keep the ship clean. Also, we are Latitudes members and were supposed to be offered a Captain's reception at some point during the cruise but this did not happen. Not sure why...

The buffet was a feeding frenzy with cold food. The room and bathroom were much too small. The majority of the staff could barely be understood and barely understood what you were saying.

It was just fine

The ship was exceptionally clean and the staff were fantastic.

If you're out to have a good time, pamper yourself, and see some beautiful country, then Cruising to Alaska on the Norwegian Pearl is for you! It was an amazing, wonderful cruise.

Lots to do on board whether you wanted excitement or quiet. Service was excellent, staff was always asking if everything was OK, etc... No complains about the stateroom service. Lots and lots of food. We tried several of the restaurants that charged an additional cost but they were well worth it. Service in the general restaurants were also very good. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Spa service was first class.

We both really like the staff on the cruise, we were impressed on how clean the ship was and over all we LOVED the cruise.

Cruising on the Norweigan Pearl was a relaxing, entertaining, and scenic vacation. There was so much to do for all of us including our 2 children, ages 8 and 5. We feel this is perhaps the best way to see Alaska, and the natural beauty of Alaska is inspiring. We saw whales, seals, dolphins, eagles, bears and glaciers. And even though this was an Alaskan cruise, the ship's pools are plenty warm and our children did lots of swimming. We visited Juneau, Ketchikan, Skagway and Victoria British Columbia. The towns were beautiful and offered many excursions, shopping and dining. My husband caught a salmon on his fishing excursion in Ketchikan.The staff on this cruise were friendly and professional. The ship is immaculately clean and comfortable. Book early to save money, and if you can swing it, get a room with a balcony.

We thoroughly enjoyed the NCL Pearl. The freestyle cruising is great - eat when you want, where you want, and with whom you want. The stops in Alaska were absolutley breathtaking.
