Review summary

The Pearl is very new and has been sailing only one year so the whole vessel is in great condition. Our room was small but nicely finished, bed was comfortable and the room attendants were always present to clean. The freestyle dining was good but since only the basicis were included in the cruise price, we felt like we were always being changed some small upcharge for this or that. In fact, that was the only part of the cruise we did not like. The onboard entertainment was good and one show in particular stood out (Sharkbait). The singers were great and the barstaff was really good and very quick to refill our drinks.

Not as big as the Royal Caribbean ship we sailed on last cruise but a nice size with good layout.

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

Tourist trap alone the beach but walk back into the mainland a couple of blocks and the island has a really neat culture. All of the locals are friendly and easy going. Your do not feel threatened at all at this destination and they do a goood job for those who just want to hang at senor frogs as well.
Don't Miss: Fun, FUN, fun

Great Stirrup Cay (Cruise Line Private Island), Bahamas

Beach and buffett, that sums this one up.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

This tiny island outpost is interesting as it is definitely not a built up tourist trap. The only thing on the island that looked new was the dock for the ship. We hired a local guide on the pier and he drove us around the complete island and filled us in on the happenings of the place. The island is very poor and it is interesting to see how some of the world lives but dont expect any shopping worth talking about. We had a couple of drinks on a really cool over water bar with our guide and a local kid who was tagging along with us all day.
Don't Miss: Hire a local guide!!! Dont book the excursion tour as it was not nearly as good at twice the price.

Pros: Overall a very nice ship, staff was friendly and very attentive.

Cons: Nickle and Dime upcharges on everything
