Review summary

Great ship and hospitality overall! We really enjoyed our trip. Two things that we were not incredibly happy about - 1. some of the sales staff came off as very sales-y and often made you feel pressured to make bookings or buy something 2. We weren't clearly informed of a $13.50 per person per day service charge on the ship, which added up to $200 in service charge for the two of us. We had already paid $200 for gratuities in advance for the ultimate beverage package, so we ended up paying $400 in gratuities/service charge which seemed excessive.

Other than that, the ship had great shows, great views, great service. We definitely had a very memorable trip.

Small interior room but space was very well utilized. Didn't feel cramped for two for a week and also forced us to do things outside of the room.

The trolley excursion we did in Ketchikan was way overpriced for what we got. That's the only thing we regret doing. Other than that, the city was beautiful.

The $13.50 per day covered your room steward, waitstaff, etc.. But a lot of people aren't very happy about the 18% charge on the "free" beverage package. Makes it not really free.

You can prepay your regular gratuities as well when you book your cruise. The beverage gratuities are just that where as the $13.50 is divided up between wait staff, steward, etc.
