Review summary
We just returned from a cruise on the Pearl. This is our forth cruise, the first with NCL.
On our previous cruises with Other lines, we were impressed with the quality of service and food provided, but the Pearl failed us this time. From a very slow and long time wait check-in, to poor food in the dining rooms, to a so so entertaining program, we were not impressed by NCL. Servants were friendly in the dinning rooms, but it was poor menu an issue, soup always very salty, a big main course with only veggies and two pieces of potato cuts, fewer sea food selections, sometime waiting so long for orders, we had to go to the buffet a few times after!
The ship was beautiful, and the excursions were awesome. We just did not feel it worth the money we paid comparing to other cruise lines. We will book with other lines but not NCL.

Sorry for the lack of service in the MDR and poor food quality in the MDR. This is a recurring thought in reviews of NCL. The only good meals I had on NCL were in the extra pay specialty restaurants. The Pearl had better service and food then the NCL Star did. I also try and stay away from NCL unless it is just a fantastic price and I can get the dining package so I do not have to eat in the MDR. The Steak House and French restaurants are good, but are extra charge.
