Review summary

This ship needs to either be docked or upgraded.  Rusty and needing paint.  Its a sad little boat with very cramped quarters and extremely poor bedding.

Ship tip

The worse meal ever was Mexican night. For what ever reason almost everything was spicy.

Either this proves that there's really no such thing as consistent, that ships can have an "off night" like anyone else. There were flaws on the Pearl for sure during my cruise last year, as there have been on every ship I've ever been on. I haven't been on NCL since, but if their quality has gone down in a year, I'm not sure I want to find out the extent.

I was on the Pearl with my sister in September and LOVED it! The ship was beautiful and spotless (I didn't see any rust at all) I have also cruised with Disney, Princess, and Celebrity in the past. We enjoyed the Pearl so much that we just booked to sail on her again to Alaska in July.

I hope it is a good ship I am going for the Dec 31st cruise to Panama canal. I am excited as hell for the trip.

is there Mexican food that isn't spicy? My personal wish is that the newer ships would expand their itineraries. It seems that most of them nestle in the Western Caribbean or Bahamas.

even the suits will be "cramped" to some people, but it does depend on how much $$ you spend. these are ships not hotels everything is smaller......

Yikes! I was excited to board in 3 days for New Years Eve.
