This was a fantastic cruise and October was the perfect month!

The Pearl is an easy ship to navigate and well maintained.

Lots of activities on sea days and the food was super.

Cabin / Stateroom
our room was very clean and well maintained
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
some confusion when going on excursions since you met in the same room- no labels

there were a lot of complaints with regards the panama trips-- some had only a 4hr trip but had to wait inside the pier for 3 hours for the pearl to return-- no water or food and no air. the tour guides did not stay with the groups so there was no information being passed on
need to read the excursion details--
attend the seminar on the excursions
Onboard Activities
Children's Programs did not use
Entertainment
Service and Staff
the entire staff at the summer palace was super! they made our morning and evening dining a pleasure!
Food and Dining
we went to the summer palace which was great!
Miami, Florida
did not stay here
Cartagena, Colombia
read what your trip is about we did the colonial-- not the best - should have done the walking tour beware that there will be vendors trying to sell shirts, necklaces, hats, and magnets-- when one leaves another comes
Cruise Gatun Lake And Panama Canal
be sure to check out what your excursion is suppose to do-- we did the ferry which took over 7 hours-- there is a bus drive of 1 hour to get to the next set of locks plus another bus trip back to ship which is about 1 1/2 hours Be sure to set in the shade on the ferry because even in October it was extremely hot only those on excursions were able to get off the boat at Gatun Lake
Colon, Panama
did not have time to explore since our excursion was late getting back
Puerto Limon, Costa Rica
we did the chocolate trip-- bring bug spray the chocolate is different then the states
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
great shopping at the pier-- lots of taxis to take you around the island
Belize City, Belize
we did the Mayan ruins-- take water it was quite hot, bring bug spray
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
we took the salsa class -- the beach was great and the instructor was super the pier has a great shopping area

Tip

The Brazilian restaurant was the best kept secret-- if you are a meat lover then check this out! well worth the extra money!
