Review summary
This was our 7th cruise, the 4th on Norwegian and the second time on the Pearl. It was just perfect in every way. The cruise staff was wonderful to us and the ship was kept clean all the time, from our cabin to all the common areas.
We enjoyed the shows onboard this time. I am glad they were good as dinner and shows go together.
Loved going through the locks at Panama. What was so amazing was how little room was left in the lock once the ship was in place. The Pearl is a Panamax ship meaning it could not be any wider or longer to fit.
The weather was great the whole time, even though it was at the end of the rainy season there with only minimal rain one day of the trip. All in all I would encourage cruisers to go there and see for themselves. Mary Oyerly

lesg some are "partial-transit" cruises which turn around and head back to their port of origination (Miami-Canal-Miami for example) and some are full transit (Miami-Canal-San Diego). I liked the Garden Cafe myself, thought the Indian dishes were great although I didn't get why the cream cheese was served on those pieces of cucumber instead of little tubs of just cream cheese.
