There are plenty of places to be on the ship that aren't too crowded/loud which may help of you are concerned about the size of the ship and the number of passengers.

The observation lounge is a great spot to hang out in the mornings and evenings! They have board games available to play as well!

Do as much as you can on line re: reservations etc. Dig, because the opportunities are not self apparent. When on board, double check everything and ask for better times,etc. Lower your expectations regarding food quality.

Sign up for the race track, laser tag, the comedy shows, etc as soon as you get on the ship, they fill up fast!

Enjoy the quiet places like the waterfront couches morning/afternoons. Make all dinner and show reservations month before cruising. Try the Q, it is great.

Don't expect too much when going through the Panama Canal. They go through three locks, turn around and go back.

Book entertainment and restaurants before boarding. If you want to eat in Ocean Blue book it as soon as you board. The app worked for us as we were only using to view the daily activities (no charge).

Get a mid ship cabin up high, which we requested but were supposedly "upgraded" to lower deck aft. Make all dining and entertainment reservations as soon as you board the ship.
