I’m sure I wouldn’t return to this ship. They two bit you to death. Wifi sucks and uses up too much time trying to get on and very expensive to be wasting time trying to get on. Inadequate smoking area, very blah meals, lots of screw ups with meals in dining room. Just not worth the money we paid for this vacation we will try another Cruiseline next time

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
1 out of 5
Dining room food was so so not like
a pat cruise on a different Cruiseline. Menu got boring with just a couple of changes each day.
Restaurants were awesome but had to book once on the ship as decent times online were taken had we got on board later we would have missed out. Not to impressed with the way they do it
Onboard Activities

Ship Quality

I am rating this on the design. Very poor pool deck for the amount of people. One small smoking section, not covered, for a large amount of people. I realize that smokers are dwindling but they still should have an adequate area. USB plugs in stateroom was broken. Main areas very clean staff worked nonstop
Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean but USB plug broken and not enough plug ins
Missed a port so spent extra time here. Were advised not to leave ship unless on excursion and even then leave jewelry and valuables on board. Pretty sketchy
Thank you for your honest review. I'm sure you know that if you give anything other than a glowing review, you will be trashed. Too bad that. Just got back from a 16 night Panama Canal cruise on the Joy and frankly knowing my review won't be completely rosey, I think "why bother?"
What many do not realize is that there is two WiFi spectrums or bands used on a ship. 2.4 and 5ghz. 2.4 is classic home WiFi band but has very limited space with a narrow spectrum and can be overwhelmed with with traffic on a ship and access will be very slow. The 5ghz spectrum has about 7x more space and is widely used on ships but many cheaper laptops and tablets do not support this band so they can not work well on a ship. Think of it this way, WiFi is like a party line in that everyone takes turns talking many times a second. On 2.4 GHz there are two lines to share, on 5ghz there are about 14 lines to share.
Sounds like cruising is probably not for you since you didn’t seem to enjoy much of anything. Most people love it, but it’s not for everyone. The Wi-Fi is rarely dependable or worth the price on a cruise. It’s usually best to just unplug and disconnect for the length of the cruise.
