Nice cruise but we will probably stick to the smaller ships from now on.

I traveled solo and found that if you want to meet regular people, hang out at Spice H20. I do not smoke but it is the smoking area. I had a blast and met so many people.

This was our second NCL cruise and would choose them first in the future. The crew is always friendly and will make every effort to ensure guests receive excellent service. For this reason - - the outstanding customer service - - we will continue to cruise exclusively with Norwegian. There was norovirus on the ship for the previous two cruises, so NCL made extra efforts to sanitize and keep areas clean. Regardless of how norovirus took over the prior cruises, I am confident that NCL did everything possible to eradicate it for our cruise. I can't fault NCL for the attitude and behavior of its passengers. Despite requests every single day in the Freestyle Daily newsletter to wear socks when putting feet up on sofas, the majority of passengers stubbornly ignored that mandate. It was disgusting to see people's filthy unwashed feet on sofas and tables. Moreover, people would alternatively keep on their dirty shoes and put them up wherever they felt like it. In the buffet, kids regularly put their feet up on tables. Can't blame NCL for not stepping in to parent these kids, especially when the grown-up "children" can't be bothered to follow written directions or exhibit good manners. Our cabin steward, Cris, was friendly and helpful, always fulfilling any of our requests. Our cabin was meticulously maintained. In addition, all of the crew were exceptionally pleasant and some remembered us by the third day, greeting us by name. In sum, NCL provides attentive service and great value.

We had a great cruise and would do it again. The Joy was really a nice ship. We enjoyed pretty much everything.

We were alittle nervous, they the noraviris on the ship for 2 weeks. They kept disinfecting the whole week. Did a good job, no body got sick.

- No excuse to not be vegan friendly. We won't book again a cruise without specific vegan menus, availability of soy milk and vegan mayo, etc. - The WiFi is too poor with the basic package (we only wanted to keep in touch by iMessage or email with sick family members left at home) and the implementation of their logon/logoff system is poor and not explained properly - When people spent $5000 for a week, trying to "milk" them for water isn't acceptable - One last thing: don't cheap out on toilet paper, I worked hard my whole life to get quality rolls

Overall a disappointing cruise. First time on a cruise line except Celebrity and not sure I’d go NCL again. Appreciate some of the issues were related to service and norovirus but they should have been handled better.

Both getting on and getting off were disasters!! Norovirus made everything worse. Cancelled one port altogether and changed our original Puerto Rico stop for another port. Too many specialty restaurants, lost all concept of inclusive cruising, nickel & dime over everything. Design has so many wasted areas that people were not interested in using due to all the extra charges.

The ship, Joy and crew were great, port call cancellations were not, embarkation and dis-embarkation were horrible.

Overall a good cruise. Some folks lose their focus of the Golden Rule when they arrive at an airport or embark on a cruise ship. NCL staff is the best, but find a smaller ship to cruise on. 20 decks and 4000+ passengers is simply too much. Add to that a norovirus on day 12, likely due to nasty passengers simply not washing their hands. Wash often, use hot soap and water - the hand sanitizers DO NOT kill 100% of the germs and bad actors.

Best vacation ever; 16 days from Miami to LA via Panama Canal while staying in The Haven.

Cruise started great and was great for the first 13 days. The ship had a noro virus outbreak that we weren’t too well informed about! Disembarkation was a total disaster! No communication, no reasons given for long delays! NCL’s lack of communication on these matters will make me think long and hard before I book another cruise with them!!

We missed Bahamas because of bad weather making it 6 sea days. Canal was uneventful Guatemala was uneventful I would not return. Acapulco was good although I don’t remember the last half of the party bus, to much rum. Mexican Rivera was great as always

In total the cruise was wonderful. It’s a real shame that disembarking was so horrible.

Again, disappointed in the casino. Not familiar with most all of the machines and saw very few where people had walked away with any money. Same on the Breakaway 10 months ago.

Rest of cruise was ok. Beatles venue too small. Food was decent. Could have had more gluten free options at Garden cafe

Felt we should have been compensated for not seeing Victoria, everyone claims it is a must see, $50 ship board credit no way compensated our loss. Felt ship not organized to accommodate the number of passengers, will stick to smaller ships. Handicapped not having access to main theater is a real head shaker., as there were oniy 12 seats.

This was our first cruise with NCL and we were rather disappointed. There were several failures encountered throughout the cruise and handled poorly. We didn't prefer the "freestyle" cruising concept that NCL uses, and will probably avoid NCL for future cruises.

As a first cruise, it was an absolutely amazing experience I’m very grateful for. I definitely felt the amount of walking/exercise by the end of the trip, but it was worth it. I would absolutely cruise with Norwegian again.

It started slow,since the tide was high and we couldn’t leave when we were suppose to.When we did leave we had a medical emergency that required a Helo evac...and then we had another one the following day.The Captain and the rest of the staff did and amazing job keeping us on schedule to make San Francisco and a great cruise all around.
