Overall a disappointing cruise. First time on a cruise line except Celebrity and not sure I’d go NCL again. Appreciate some of the issues were related to service and norovirus but they should have been handled better.

Service in main dining rooms was poor, slow, wrong items, tables not set, dirty table linen not changed. Bars understaffed, long wait times at busy bars, ran out of straws for a couple of days, limited drink selection and premium drinks package is not as good as Celebrity.
Onboard Activities

Speedway takes up a lot of space on deck, expensive to ride & not used much. I didn’t ride it. Laser tag - the same - why it was installed on deck taking up sun lounging space is beyond me. Fitness centre quite small.
Entertainment

Footloose isn’t great. Elements was good. Having to book tickets for shows is annoying - it’s supposed to be freestyle cruising. Too many bars in my opinion segment passengers too widely.
Service and Staff

Staff were overstretched due to norovirus and consequently service was slow, poor and charmless in most cases. Complaints poorly received. Handling of the norovirus at the start of the cruise was inadequate in informing passengers about a refund.
Ship Quality

Modern and decor is good. But lots of wasted space. Too many speciality restaurants that are half empty. Very little quiet space to sun bathe away from families or music, unless a Haven guest.
