First ever cruise, throughly enjoyed & will definately do another. NCL did everything well, I'm not one to sit in daytime entertainment so did our own thing however there seemed to be plenty going on to keep you entertained if you wanted it.

My 4th time on the Joy. First time in the Haven on the Joy. I enjoyed the Haven more on the smaller BREAKAWAY.

Good, short getaway for us. Probably will not travel during hurricane season, at least to Bermuda or Caribbean. Our weather was perfect, but worried and tracked storms until embarking.

Second half of back to back. Absolutely minor complaints. Otherwise excellent cruise. Only disappointment the Scaled back Le Bistro Menu. Also no longer App and Salad it's app or salad in all specialty Restaurants.

Good time of year to go if you can avoid a hurricane. Transportation to Quebec not the easiest so plan an extra couple of days before you board. With 3800 passengers it did not feel crowded.

Very upset that NCL waited until 10:10 PM evening before to notify us of port cancellations. I believe they close at 10:00 so we could not contact anyone to discuss options. As a result we were forced to fly to NY as planned and spend an extra day there. Cost us a small fortune between hotel, cabs and meals. U.S. Open was being played, it was Labor Day weekend. Rooms were VERY COSTLY !

Disappointed we did not get to go to Portland or Boston. But it wasn’t Ncl’s fault. Would have liked better communication prior to cruise and some consideration such as a shipboard credit or extra latitude points for the inconvenience of it all.

We missed the majority of the cruise ports. The first 2 ports were canceled due to the hurricane, and those were the main reasons for the cruise. I broke my toe the 1st night, so then we missed a few ports cause it really hurt. Then my hubby got sick the last 2 days and stayed in bed. So this was a total miss for us. But, I will say the ship/cruise was still enjoyable considering all the misgivings. Prehaps one of the best services we endured. :) Oh... PS... they need plugs beside the bed. Ughhhh!!! The extension cord across the floor to plug in the cpap machine is dangerous when going to the restroom in the dark of night! And, charging for bottled water when you have the drink packages is RIDICULOUS. These two things alone may keep me from returning to this ship.

NCL never disappoints. You may have a bad moment or even a day but they hit all the notes. Great Specially meals, great shows, great mixologists. Big Casinos however no buffet this time. Staff if trained and happy. Buffet still has lukewarm to warm food but good selection. Try the Hummus in the Buffet

Do not understand why this ship gets low ratings. Embarkation was the most organized I’ve seen. Ship was clean and in great shape. Food was great. Staff were all very pleasant and always welcoming and very busy making sure we all had a great time. Just don’t go on any cruise thinking you are going to get a 5 star hotel and meal. Go to relax and have a great vacation and you will!

Even though we were not allowed off the ship in Bermuda due to bad weather, Joy was a beautiful ship with so much to be enjoyed. Plenty to do, never felt crowded. Excellent food and entertainment. Internet not great, I don't believe they have Starlink yet.

The haven is worth the extra charge. Would be hard to go back

A few hiccup but ncl made it right with service and credit and professionalism staff is amazing 🤩 thank you gave me Joy 😇

When going through customs clearance in Miami, passengers felt like herded cattle. It was an awful experience. I was given a free specialty dining option but charged a $60 service charge for ordering lobster. Not fair!

We loved the Joy so much we are going again in July!

The ship was overcrowded and this was particularly noticeable at embarkatio, buffet and pool.

Love the beaches and the people. Lots of fun and enjoyable memories.

So much rain on this trip. Locals said they got 1 month’s rain in our first 2 days on the island. Had a good time though. Will have to try again another time.

This was our 52nd Cruise and definitely was one of our favorite cruises. We were in the Haven and was treated like royalty from the time of embarkation to disembarking. If anyone reading this review is on the fence about the Haven, just book it you will not be disappointed.

I though I would have gotten more for the price I paid for this cruise. There was no movies or tv to watch in the cabin, one movie for the kids was $10. We had to pay extra for the arcade and Laser tag. These should all be included in the price of the cruise. The curise wifi didnt work not of the time. With the wifi we could only text and go on social media, we were not able to make calls with the wifi hours given to us.
