Review summary

Even though we were not allowed off the ship in Bermuda due to bad weather, Joy was a beautiful ship with so much to be enjoyed. Plenty to do, never felt crowded. Excellent food and entertainment. Internet not great, I don't believe they have Starlink yet.

La Cucina Italian Restaurant

The best food at sea!! Everything tasted like a 5 star restaurant. Flavor was great. Not large portions, but filling.

American Diner

Can get breakfast here instead of going to the buffet! It's a well kept secret. Same good as buffet just without the crowds and lines.

I love everything about NCL. Ships are beautiful and so well laid out.

Cabin / Stateroom

Stayed in a standard balcony room. Good size, did not feel too cramped for two people. Bathroom was decent size. Modern layout. Couch was not comfortable, bed a bit stiff.

Ship tip

Specialty dining on NCL is always worth it! Purchase a package prior to sailing, almost double the price when you try to buy onboard.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

Only reason I'm rating it low is because we were only allowed off the ship for 3 hours due to the weather! Captain made the wrong choice by continuing to sail to Bermuda during TWO active hurricanes. For the three days we were docked in Bermuda, we were not allowed off the ship because we needed to be on standby for the ship to leave whenever there was a window of good weather. Very upset I did not get to experience Bermuda on this cruise, especially since it was the only port stop!
