Review summary

We very much enjoyed Alaska but were very disappointed with Norwegian. We both smoke and the only place to do so was at the very back corner of the ship away from everything. There was about 50 of us crammed in the corner. There was no shelter from the rain and the cold. We missed all of the entertainment because we didn’t know you had to make reservations. We have cruised many times on other cruise ships and have never had to make reservations for the entertainment.

The dining room was great, buffets ok

There were lots of kids onboard so we didn’t get to use any of those facilities, the other activities were repetitive..same thing every day

Entertainment

Very disappointing, we didn’t get to see any of the shows because we had no idea you had to make reservations and then when I tried they were all booked. We have never had to make reservations on any other cruise line for the shows

The cabin was clean but very small and tight not a lot of room to move around

I’ve been booking in advance, I have been reading the reviews and all say to book before you go and keep proof of your booking.

Always a good idea to do research about the ship before boarding, Especially if it is a new ship or Cruise Line that you have never cruised before. Many Of the ships now require reservations for specific shows, restaurants or other activities. These can usually be booked in advance online. Many are disappointed if they wait until they get on the ship and find out everything has already been booked.
