Great cruise with beautiful scenery. Alaska is a beautiful place. I wish we had been able to see the Dawes glacier on our cruise, but due to the calving ice we were not able to make it. We had a very relaxing time, and had a great mix of things to do and relaxation on the trip. There was plenty to keep our teenage son busy on the boat. There were so many unique things to do on this boat like laser tag and Go carts that we have not had on other cruises. we had a wonderful time

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Buffet is where we ate all our meals and it had a huge variety of foods each meal and we never left hungry, The food was fantastic!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We have a teen son and he used all of the multiple amenities on the ship. The laser tag, putt- putt, water slides (although he was too light to use the one he was most interested in), and the go carts. All were top notch and fun for all.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We went to both headliner performances - Footloose and Elements - Both were top of the line and entertaining. We also went to some of the comedy acts and also very fun.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
Teen club had activities that kept our son from being "bored" - he was always asking when the next activity was. He always came back saying he had a lot of fun.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Everyone was great and everything kept very clean throughout.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The staff kept everything clean and well maintained. The only comment that I will have to the negative is that there were often times in the buffet that it was so busy that there were no seats and we had to wait for people to leave to have seats, or sit outside.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Perfect size. this was the first time we have ever had a balcony, and we loved the balcony! Our steward kept the cabin clean and comfortable for us.
Ship tip
Get your buffet table after getting a drink and have someone sit to hold while getting food so you have a table.
This was our favorite port and we had the least amount of time here. Went on a whale watching excursion that was exquisite and say mom and baby play for several minutes - very special, and then went to Mendenhall glacier.
This was absolutely beautiful, but we had to turn around before reaching the glacier due to the ice in the water, however. That was disappointing, but safety has to come first.
Went on a bear excursion - saw 2 brown bear cubs. The port itself has a few shops. The city is 1.5 miles from port. Not much in the city. We walked on the beach back to the boat. This area is very rural and picturesque. Liked learning about the people that live there.
Beautiful city! We went on hop on- hop off bus tour of the city and on a tour of the Craigdarroch castle. Loved the castle and the tour. Did a little shopping in town befor returning to the boat.
